From all of the leavings that have been going on I have noticed one thing about myself that I am not proud of; my attitude and friendliness towards others. This mainly hit me when I noticed that I was not open enough to people to have them make any "shout-outs" to me. Not their fault, but me. I know many of you will say that I am a great member and that I have always been friendly to you, but in my honest opinion it is not enough and it does not make me proud. For this reason is why I am posting this thread. I am wanting to say hello to everyone and start off with a new attitude. Instead of being called "Lefty", I have decided to ask to start being called "Nick", my real name. To help remind people I am going to change my default IRC name to include Nick in it. I know Dilz already calls me Nick, and to me, it makes me feel better. Also to add onto that, I am going to try to start being more active in greeting new members on the forums and also talking to them in-game and in IRC PM, along with current members. I am trying to improve my involvement in the community, and to anyone that wants to join me, feel free. Regardless of the amount of people leaving, we are still a community, we are still a warring clan, we are still a skilling clan, but most importantly we are still WG. This downfall is a bit of a hole in the road that will only help us in the long run. So let me start out my new view and new focus with saying hello! Here is a little information about myself: My name is Nicholas, which can easily be shortened to Nick. Either name is fine as I am called both in real life. I am current a sophomore in high school, which is grade 10. I live in Alabama, more specifically south Alabama, in the United States, and I am in the GMT -6 (CST) time zone. My hobbies include video gaming, marching band in the fall, indoor percussion in the winter/spring, customizing and working on iPhones/iTouches, and hanging out with my girlfriend. At the moment I am having band competitions almost every Saturday with 3 more to go, not including our trip to Dayton, Ohio for World Championships, which is in mid-April. So if I am not on for anything that occurs on a Saturday, the competitions will probably be why.  Video game wise, I have pretty much focused myself onto RuneScape. At times I will go and open up Guild Wars, but it only lasts for so long because I know absolutely nothing about the game and well.. I just like RuneScape more! I previously played Tribal Wars on World 20, but quit that roughly 3 weeks ago because I began to get bored with it. Console gaming wise, I have always been a big fan of Zelda, Metroid, and Final Fantasy. Soon enough I plan on getting enough money to buy myself an Xbox360 so I can play many of the hyped up games that I have been hearing about for years now... When it comes to computer games I started my life with MMORPGs playing Diablo 2. My mom's best friend played Diablo, introduced my brother and I to it, and after a few long breaks between games and just real life, we got into Diablo 2, eventually ending up on Battle.net. After a year or so on Diablo 2, a few of my friends began playing this game called RuneScape and persuaded me into playing it... and that is just how the story goes. Umm.. not much about my girlfriend. We have been dating for over 9 months now. She is a grade above me, while only being 4 months older (We are both 16 at the moment, but her birthday is in September and mine is January 15th). She is also in the band and knows I play lots of video games, so the only problems that she poses to my 'scaping is when she wants to hang out. In real life, I am 16 years old, and am one of the top ranked students in my grade. My diploma program is ranked as one of the top in the nation and even the world and goes by the name of International Baccalaureate. It provides me with a needed challenge and I plan on doing well in it and hopefully reeking all of the benefits I can get from it. So... the homework that I have sometimes gets a bit annoying but I deal with it. I also have a brother, a half-sister, and a niece and a nephew. I may bitch about them from time to time.
