The sixth CoD game was already confirmed to be under Infinity Ward's wing (and not World at War dev Treyarch), but this news thankfully confirms that number six isn't the rumoured sci-fi spin-off we were dreading.

Ok so, now that CoD5:MW2 is 100% coming out and meant to be released this november (?) what are we all thinking?

Will it shut Treyarch and all those CoD:WaW fans up and put them in their place?

Will it bring alot more to the table?

Could it possibly be too much like CoD4:MW?

Me, personally i think its gonna turn out to be pretty good, my only queery is that i think it may turn out to be just like CoD4:MW only with different maps and maybe the odd new gun thrown in here and there. However i could possibly be absolutely wrong, they may revolutionize the entire system and create the most kick ass game ever.

Discuss.

Edit: Also if anyone could find any in-game screenshots of CoD5:MW2 that are 100% legitimate, could they please post them. Thanks

Me and a few friends were talking about it at lunch on Friday, I vote that it will kick ass. I'll buy it the minute it comes out, wheras I'm waiting for WAW to get cheap.

If you just think about it for a second, if Call of Duty 4 hadnt come out, then World at War would have been a major flop, as of right now wheres it not doing bad.

I say this because Infinity Ward, created:

- The ranking system
- The idea of prestige mode
- The points system
- The challenge system
- Weapon upgrade system (attachments)
- and more

CoD:WaW took these into their game, nearly exactly copying the CoD4 system, so if CoD4 hadnt come out, would CoD:WaW have had even a glimpse of success?

Gonna be epic, I heard some of the stuff that's gonna be in it, and not gonna be in it.

There's no P90, and alot of other weapons have been removed. I can't remember off the top of my head, I'll find out.

Gonna be amazing

I think discovering that COD:WAW was ANOTHER World War 2 game, was the most disappointing moment of my entire life. It'll be good to have that rectified.
