We want to ask all members to dedicate one of their bank tabs to PVP.(^) Who? Everyone, including emeritus When? As soon as it is approved Why? - Returning and massing is made faster. - Easier for members to check which items are depleting and need restocking - Easier for leaders to conduct spot checks: "Screenie your PVP tab please"(*) - Easier to buy and sell items right before the raid starts How? I will make a guide and put it in the guides forum, with the example layout for the tab. I will order it specifically to maximise efficiency, and give the quantities, and wherever possible, state the best ways to obtain the items. Cons? - It wastes one of your tabs - You might have to break the location of items. For example, you won't be keeping your runes together. I won't put cosmic runes in the PVP tab. - Spot checks sound a bit Nazi(*) (^)Note - Some important PVP items like bind runes CAN go in a runes tab since they are commonly used for non PVP things. (*)Note - Please be aware we do not punish for lack of equipment, so don't feel too threatened if you are checked. We will NEVER punish. We just need to see so we can encourage you to improve, and on the flip side, congratulate you for having the necessary things. You guys may not think that the 2 full minutes you spend searching your bank matters, but it really does. The more often more of our warriors are at the battlefield, the more often and faster we are killing the other team. This means we lose less rune at the end of the day because we are organized. I think you're just lazy if you can't even bother to organize 20 items that at the end of the day will help your clan. I can organise my bank fine, I don't need to be told how to do it. --Edit-- Since I seem to be going against the grain by saying no, here's why: -I normally have my war gear mixed among other stuff unless I am warring (ie laws/nats etc. in runes tab however when I am going raiding I move this all into my least used tab. I have my equipment organized in a way that's fast for me and makes sense - doing this would simply screw things up for me. This isn't to say I think the idea a bad one - having no organization is bad, but forcing a specific type of organization is also bad. I would vote yes if it was a strong suggestion... But a rule? We shouldn't need to make rules for every little thing. I am fine with having people have a "combat" tab, but having just a F2P Warring Tab irks me a little bit. I think maybe the f2p can be closest located to your mouse in a row that would be most time efficient? Can be in the same combat tab granted most people have one. That can be the rule I think. I won't care either way, so I can't really vote yes or no on the matter. If it comes out as yes and its made a rule, I'll make a pvp tab. If not, then I'll keep my bank the way it is, with periodic checking of organization on my part. --------------------  Thanks Sam for an awesome job and an awesome wait!

I know exactly where EVERYTHING is. My bank is so organized that I keep even my runes in a specific order. There are a few people who can verify how good I organize things. Reorganizing it would mess up everything else. Scim first tab with the rest of the weapons, food near the bottom of that tab. I don't think it's necessary to put ALL F2P PvP related items in a specific tab, so long as you know where they are. Most of your reasons for implementing such a rule are to create efficiency, well, if I KNOW for a fact all my Nature/Water/Earth Runes are in the "All" tab at the very top where I keep my most used items, it doesn't do me any good to move them. It'll only slow me down if I put them in my F2P PvP Tab. What I think you SHOULD do is go ahead with the checks. If people know where their stuff is it's in the interest of the clan to let it be that way, in terms of efficiency. Here is how my bank is organized, and I find things quickly:    In the first tab, all my runes are available upon opening the bank. So those are easily accessible to me. The second tab has ALL my F2P needs (with the exception of axes which are in my "junk" tab, I'll move them). All my Rune, food, robes, staves, CWA gear, capes (not our allies'). Then the third image is of my P2P stuff, which right now is limited. I need to buy more Rune Gloves, stock up on some SC armor (Yes, I use that). My range gear for P2P is in the fourth tab which is all my range gear, which again is still easily accessible. As you can see, I won't be hunting for anything when called for a PvP event as it's all in a specific place and I KNOW where that place is. In any case, I've already got the tabs I'm just saying it wouldn't be necessary if someone such as Tabs KNOWS where all her stuff is and can get to it all easily. Don't need to be a dick about it. Anyway, I'm gonna vote no, you can ask people to do it, and make a guide for it, but some people like things the way they are, it's like asking people to bind, you can ask them, but there's no real way of checking if they do, and/or enforcing any sort of rule like that. -------------------- | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

I have a tab very similar to what your suggesting. If leadership ever really had a problem with me, I would trust Glenn to check anything out. Love the idea of the guide or example and think it should be highly recommended and maybe even something included in a picture at application time. I just don't like unnecessary rules added that someone has to enforce.
