I leave my comp on overnight, and then it randomly has shutoff during the night, well i think its more on standbye. Not quite true, they solved a lot of those problems along time ago, as long as you don't worry about your power bill, and aren't running the computer in a Sauna, there shouldn't be any problems leaving it running. As for your random "shutdowns" try checking your power management settings for anything involving shutting down, hibernating, stand by or sleeping after X time. If not, then it might be caused by automatic updates forcing your computer to reboot, if thats the case, you can try enabling "Check for updates but let me choose..." in Windows Update Settings -------------------- Ex-Secondary Leader, Ex-Council, The Original Forum Tech Original Join Date: 23-October 04 | ||
