As of now, I have completed most of my modifications to the TS server, and got it working for the first time today.

I have spent over three full days working on this problem, one issue after another, and have learned a fair bit about mySQL, linux, ssh and all things related.

On to the more interesting details:
SERVER ADDRESS: wildernessguardians.com:8767
Easily remembered URL. We sort of had it before, but we definitely have it now.

Now, the big improvement(user-side):

Your login and password are the same as these forums!
No messing with multiple logins; no confusing names. It is also more secure, as you have to be a member of this forum to login. Someone spams on TS, we know who it is easily.

I have also made it such that anyone with access to the forum ACP automatically gets access to the teamspeak ACP, located here: http://wildernessguardians.com:14534

What I have left to do is lock the TS server down further such that only cirtain ranks can join - currently you just have to be registered here to login. I have everything I need setup, I just have to get a stupid mySQL query working.

That's nice Robbie.... but about the thing where you have to register before being allowed on TS:
We have like... I dunno public events, like public prank calling sessions, public kareokes..... that we advertise on RSC.... everyone will have to register first

Yes, I managed to (accidentally, mind you) delete all the user profiles, channels, and settings when I was trying to fix things.

The problem is that it isn't the mysql query itself - I have no trouble(usually) with that; Its that the TS server is using this special mysql library called "libsqlmy.so" that comes with it. Now, this library apparently has some issues, as some perfectly valid queries will return errors like this: "EDatabaseError.dbExpress Error: Operation Not Supported"

As a good example - This will work fine:

select * from ts2_servers WHERE i_server_id > 0;

Yet this:

CODE

select * from ts2_servers

will not.
Note that there are -no- lines in ts2_servers where i_server_id is less than or equal to zero.
Screwy? Yea. I only found out what was wrong thanks to a forum post by someone who ran into this same problem.
