My computer keeps restarting by itself..help?

I think it's a virus or trojan problem, what are some free programs that can scan and remove viruses?

AVG will probably help you the most. There is a guide for it in the guides forum thing.

Yawn, a simple fix, if you're computer is kept in a small confined place, then it WILL be full od dust, simply open it up and clean the inside. It's generally a dirt problem more than a virus problem.

If cleaning doesn't work then you broked your PC! And you must get "AVG" and quickly scan it once then delete the quaranteens.

As Frankie said, clean the dust out first. If that doesn't fix the problem, download this program (link) and post a screenshot of it running (preferably after your computer has been running for 15+ minutes)

If your core temps are too high, you may need a new heatsink or just some thermal compound for your processor.
