An awesome update by Jagex. This will really help everyone with their tanking. I decided to make a guide for you guys, as you might have noticed we have a PKRI coming up. So, let's go hash.png

Step One:

Right click the prayer icon to the left of your mini-map.

Step Two:

Select the prayers you want to turn on when you hit the 'Quick Pray' button, then hit confirm.

Step Three:

If you get piled, all you need to do is click the prayer icon to the left of your map, and the pre-set prayers will turn on biggrin.gif

This will save valuable time, and you can now concentrate on eating more. This guide is short and sweet, but it should help some people who don't read runescape.com news posts hash.png

Happy tanking woeh.gif

Ideally, we need everyone using this feature at the CR PKRI, so make sure and link people to this guide if they don't know how to do it.

Yes there is a delay but its about the same as the time needed to flick screens and then put on all 2 or 3 prayers. Should be useful:

Side note: switching from p2p to f2p with smite selected as chosen still shows above head, no idea if it works or not

I haven't seen that much of a delay. I was using it with Piety and Protect from Melee at Black Dragons and things seemed fine with me.

Anyway, I agree this would make raiding in both F2P and P2P more enjoyable. With P2P there is a far less chance now that people will lose their "protect" item from forgetting to put on that prayer, because they can just auto-select Protect Item along with Piety.Mystic Might/Eagle Eye and their respective Protection Prayer.

Mickey, any suggestions as to what Prayers we should have pre-set? Obviously protect from Melee, but should we auto Steel Skin as well?

I suggest using the prayers that I have set, which you can see in the screenie. Those are the ones I usually use in PvP, Protect item can be turned off if you're a man and don't mind losing pixels hash.png
