I'm really sorry to be so selfish and abuse my powers...
But I have never been so excited in my whole life.

I just used Audacity to fine-tune my symphony.
And MY God!

This is Opus 1.
Before this, Eugene Marshall never existed as a composer.
Nothing yet has been worthy of historic remembrance.

For the first time ever, I feel like I can really make it as a Hollywood music writer.
I got zero replies to my last topic so I'm hoping for a few more this time.

It's 10mb.
I have never felt so excited in my life so far.

You know Lordy, you shouldn't waste your time posting it here for us simplefolk, you know we will all praise it even if it sucked, which of course it doesn't (If I didn't like Hidden Kingdom 3 I wouldn't have even begun listening to this one)

You should really take this somewhere Lordy.

EDIT:

And what you posted to pseudo and anat, if you try to aim it at me, mine is at 5:02 and im listening and thinking at the same time. Not the best thing to do when absorbing a new peice tbh. But I like to say stuff as it comes to mind.

What did you have in mind for the peice when the transition happened around 7:58, and again a little at 8:18? If you don't mind me asking.

7:58 is the end of the first climactic moment in the music.
It's a period of calm. When the piano comes in at 8:18, it's sunrise.

Im sorry I had to ask, im not as musically inclined as some people xD

Making a picture out of a peice is hard for me. But that does make sense. Im just too dumb to notice xD
^ Simplefolk.

I listened to it all. I don't have much to say, cause im sure I can't describe it well. But I liked the ending, honestly thought when you brought back the beginning bit (around 1:00) louder and more vibrant (with others in the foreground) it was the ending (Around 10:28), but it did go on.

Nice peice lordy. I hope it's going on the front page for all to hear.

or did you you have something else in mind there?

Oh, the whole bit from 3:41 onwards is softish.
It's a moment of relaxation before I throw the audience into an epic chase around half way through the work.

Very nice. I've listened to it a few times already, trying to really get at the heart of the music. I could make some comments now, but I think they'd be premature.

Intense, reminds me of the music in an emotionally charged scene in a movie , where women are dabbing their eyes.

^^I thought you hated America laugh.gif

Anyways...

Brilliant. Love it.

6:00-8:00 = pure genius.

Great F horn parts and decent percussion parts. If you have those two things you can automatically make epic music for epic movies.

10:15 to the end sent chills down my spine.

The dissonant notes thrown in add a bit of flavor.

The strings flow very nicely and I'd love to hear a recording of an actual orchestra play this piece.

I'll add more if I think of stuff..

Well.. I have heard this piece 7 times now.
From start to finish
It STILL amazes me, I don't know why, I just love the tune, beginning is my fave though smile.gif

I like the new twinkley sound you have put in near the beginning instead of the shakey noise thing.

OMFG THE MIDDLE SCARES ME sad.gif
It's powerful!!

Ooh loving the end, amazing.

Overall amazing, so good I just hit the play button from the beginning again!!
