Firstly, if this poll remains at the top of the IAs, it might overpower the other MAJOR announcement - Follow-Up Game which is very important, so don't overlook it because this topic is more popular.

Anyway, how is 105 working out?
We're half way through the trial period.
We did enforce the application reqs, but leaders did not force training.
Even though we didn't force training, only one member is below reqs.
We won't really worry about it because we know that member works hard for WG.
Its only a short matter of time.

But apart from that, how is it going?
We went up 2 combat levels, but I KNOW, that apps have slowed down a little in comparison to what they have been before under 100+, when we were recruiting just as strong.

Vote.
I won't give my opinion so as to not bias the poll.

I personally like the 105+ because when they apply, they will have their fair share of combat experience, so hopefully we won't have another skillers vs. war'ers debate. Also, since they took longer to get to 105 combat, they will have probably seen more of the clan world than those at 100 combat. Just my idea. unsure.gif

Short version: no comment.

This is purely IMO, but as a skiller I've completely given up on WG. It's been made perfectly clear we're minor annoyances and complaining about it will only make us noisy minor annoyances. So I really don't have an opinion anymore, do whatever you want. wink.gif

PS: This might change after the semester when I have more time to spend online.

I don't like it, I would rather have the members than the levels. Many of them seem like good people for WG but they can't join because of the reqs and over time people tend to lose interest.

Your two options sucked.

But i went with 105+ is better.
With the person i've recruited from zybez, he didn't really seem to mind getting those extra 5 levels from 100. If he can do it, anyone can.

No matter what the reqs are, we seem to be a clan who likes its levels high (from a warring perspective). If someone level 100 joins, they'll be an odd one out and feel pressured to train anyway. If they don't train, they'll be asked to train repeatedly as always happens.

At least with a 105 req, there's less pressure for them to train. I found training to be in WG pretty enjoyable, because i was looking forward to getting in. It was a good inscentive to join and the more I trained, the more i was eager to get in. If someone truly wants to be in WG, they'll gain those 5 extra levels. If they give up they clearly don't have much determination to be in. What with wg_lobby and public events, people can easily get involved with the community before even joining.

I'd say keep it at 105. Times have change a LOT since the first times we started thinking of changing it years ago, and our average is about 7 levels higher than what it was then.

People don't need to be a guardian to be a part of the community. We're supposed to reach out to those who want to join.

I see no reason to change the requirements back, I think 105 is working out perfectly.

105+ is good. I prefer having the option to attack everyone. It shows they are of more use against higher levels in low level wild.

You know I've always been an advocate of level 100 reqs.

Btw, our combat average didn't go up because of the requirement change, it's because all of the low levels were kicked out for various reasons *cough conspiracy cough*

i think our heavy recruiting has balanced out and we are getting up our combat levels as you said, but we will have to see if it will be worth it at the PKRI on sunday.

The thing with the requirements at 105 and recruiting is, for people who are new to the clan world, that I try recruiting into WG, it is hard for them to get a piece of WG and take the bite. There have been a few people who I have asked to join my clan even though they were a lower level, and they didn't want to go to the site (and didn't have IRC) if they didn't have the requirements.

From what I have heard, WG has been about the numbers for a long period of time. It is hard to get more numbers with higher requirements.

Just my opinion... I know not many agree with it.

We're in a minority.
Just because I have been working my ass off for recruitment, people think we're doing fine. I am going to cut back at let the clan recruit itself, and then we'll see.

I voted for 100.

Honestly I'd rather have nice people and a potential good friend and member in here even if it means taking someone with a couple less levels.

Uh I didn't really care.

But I voted as 105+ because it seemed to be that the members joining had more knowledge than the ones prior to the switch.

Also yes, Lordy is keeping the clan afloat.

I'd personally say 110+ is the way to go and LEAVE IT AT THAT, as 105+ is EASY with summoning, or at least 105+ F2P CMB.

Better lvl's=better average lvls=USUALLY more experience.

I like 105 more than 100 though, never drop that low again pl0x.

1. The reqs are 105 f2p. Summoning has nothing to do with it.

2. We were a top 15 F2P and top 5 P2P clan when we were 100+...as a 105+ clan? We haven't done shit. We're not even getting better...

Actually, I was thinking the same thing as I was reading the comments. Have we gotten any better overall? I really don't think so. Our average combat level went up by one level. That is with training and new people at 105. This poll is really to early to truly know if the 105 is any good.

I think the 100 combat people bring a certain amount of fun and excitement to the clan. They are usually just excited to be doing things. They complain less about crappy drops. Even though they require more help, it is how deeper friendships can develop and grow.

Don't lecture me on the History of Wg Colin honestly iv'e been around long enough to know it myself.....

I voiced my opinion you don't have to agree with it, but it's my opinion we ain't ever gonna get to be were we could be with low Req's that's why the top clans Req's are all high.

Let's not forget having req's at 100 is all well and good but the fact is low lvl's=easy ko's.
