What?

This will be a recruitment event. It will consist of general community activities such as firefests, cabbage bombings, conga lines and what have you. We'll have a F2P event and a P2P event (so we could plant flowers in P2P as well).

When?

This Thursday, May 7th.

Times:
AEST: 10AM - This would be on Thursday morning, May 7th
EST: 8PM - This would be on Wednesday night, May 6th
PST: 5PM - This would be on Wednesday night, May 6th
GMT: 1AM (sorry) - This would be on Thursday morning, May 7th

I'm hoping people can make this event. It's at a pretty decent time for Americans I'd think. I know for many this is AP season (in the US) so studying will be going on, but this event won't take that much time. It's mainly for getting our name out there.

What to bring?

The clan outfit.

Have a decent number of logs for the firefest (possibly double since both F2P and P2P). The same with cabbages. Have some mithril seeds (for flowers) ready for the P2P portion. Also have teleports to all the major cities and towns (Varrock, Falador, Ardogoune, Camelot, etc.).

The amulet and ring are for extra teleports. The ring isn't visible, and the mask covers up the amulet so it doesn't ruin the costume.

PLEASE try to get everything before the event. It takes a few seconds to place an offer and after that you just have to wait until the transaction takes place - no more work on your part. It's simple and will really help speed things up.

Where?

I would like to meet at the GE - there are usually a lot of people there and generally higher leveled people as well. The world will be decided on the day depending on the populations. I'm not to keen on picking something like W1 because we'll never get on it, which is why this part is being decided a few minutes before we actually mass.

Why?

We need the new members, and this is an effective way to get our name out there.

I'd ask everyone to keep their private chat set to On for the duration of this event so that people who are interested can just add you and talk to you. If things don't work out with that person, just take them off after the event. We'll also be using my (or HL's) CC.

Notes

Please tell everyone in the clan about this event. I don't care if they're Emeritus, just tell everyone you meet that is a member of this clan about this event. In order for this to work, we will NEED good attendance. I'm not talking about good for our current standards, which is about 10 to an event. We need 15-20 people. Any less and it's really not that effective. So just get the word out. If everyone does this, then a large part of this clan will know about the event.

There were a lot of changes to this event. I feel they were for the better. Instead of going through with the cabbage bombing and firefests and whatnot, I decided because of the release of the new BH, we should tackle those worlds. There were loads of people at Edgeville, and that was exactly what we wanted.

So we massed on W89 Edgeville and basically ran around the wilderness spamming for WG. I think we did a good job, haha. This went differently than most Recruitment events. We didn't stay as a group. To cover more of Edgeville, we ran around as individuals and spammed.

Here is the attendance:

It was a quick easy event, but was effective in getting our name back out there, especially in an area where massive amounts of fighters are located.

Thank you Garrett and Dallar.

is the day you have stopped leading them.
They have either lost confidence that you can help them
or concluded that you do not care.
Either case is a failure of leadership.”
