Well, it seems to me that for some reason, the levels required to raid rules are still around, abit not enforced.

I would propose to do away with them entirely - let people do what they think is best.

For example, I believe that the ranging requirement is 90+ range.

On the most recent raid we did, with 81 range, I got the most kills out of anyone. 4 kills. (you can claim I tied with BTO, but since he was at any battle first, and got in several hits before the rest of us came, I'm not really counting it)

The fact that I was able to out-damage everyone else on multiple occasions with a level that's below the reqs argues for doing away with them entirely - they do not, I believe, server any purpose.

They might be gone, I wasn't able to find the topic, and only a few people knew what I meant.

PS: Ditto with F2P. Double kill to boot.

I don't think these "level raid reqs." even exist neko2.gif. It;s jsut suggested if you have those levels that you do Range/Mage.

I read that too but if I recall it had to do with ranked cwa stuff we were doing more at the time. My suggestion is if you feel you can do it, then just ask the current person leading the raid if you are under that level. They have good judgment and can be helpful.

Thank you Garrett and Dallar.

is the day you have stopped leading them.
They have either lost confidence that you can help them
or concluded that you do not care.
Either case is a failure of leadership.”

Yeah, that's just a war consideration, not really something for raiding.

You being 115 f2p, i believe can do much more damage melee than with 81 range. Also, maybe because you were one of very few people ranging, that you got the kills. Because almost always, when somebody is being piled, they pray melee.

Those requirements are there for a reason, or at least were.

Raiding is a lot more different than wars. If you were caught ranging in a war, you would be in trouble because 81 just doesn't cut it.

In a Raid I dont care as much. I encourage people to range, since meleeing can get you killed often (although it arguably does the most damage).

I tend not to enforce it too much, unless its extreme. I dont want people using maple short bows.

What Bto said.
Summary: In a raid it doesn't really matter ohmy.gif (although don't use maple short bows biggrin.gif)
