Right, WG - a place we all know and love, a place I can see is diminishing rapidly. Activity is dwindling, morale is low and the general atmosphere is dull and depressing. I speak for us all in saying we want WG back to it's best, but what really is the best, and what are countless hours of hardwork actually contributing to?

Basically, before we start making solutions and suggestions, we need to know what we really want WG to be. Once we know what we want, and only once we know what we want, can we start implementing change.

Once we are satisfied with what we have internally, we can start recruiting and improving our public image. We need to be the foundations, the people we have now need to be stronger than ever, and we need to become a strong base for future improvements and developments.

We need to be what we want to be, not trying to shadow our past, not looking to the future. Now is what matters.

--------

I just wanted to let that out. I haven't been on the forums much recently, and from what I can see from topics recently, this is how I feel. It might be utter bullocks and no use at all but I hope you can see what I'm getting at.

I know that what I wrote is kinda not about runescape, and it does not flow at all, and it varies alot, but I just wanted to say it.

This has been said time and time again. It's true, and we understand, and we're working on it. It's time to be part of the solution, because we have already identified the problems.

IMO we've identified the symptoms and frantically ignored any possibility of their cause. There's precious little benefit from putting on sunscreen AFTER you've already developed skin cancer and then pretending you're not deathly ill. I think we need a more comprehensive diagnosis before we move on to treatment.

I'm not really active enough to be totally informed, just my two cents. hashdown.gif.png

I agree on most of it, and i plan to be as big of a solution as possible.

As a VERY good quote goes

"The first step to getting the things you want out of life is this: Decide what you want"

Same thing applies here!

My thoughts on WG:

We are family and friends here. Sometimes forgetting the me, myself, I, mine, and my is the best thing. When you're selfish and only want what you want and take an attitude towards toward other members in the family, you are only weakening us.

Even though I dislike pvp things, I'm in a family that loves it. So I might not be the best but I'm willing to go along and be with my friends.

If everyone in WG would try to think more about the whole group and others over their own desires, we would be an even more awesome clan.

Attend events that you don't like without complaining and just enjoy the friendships.

If you're not really a skiller, try it out a bit. Ask people like Staz for advice on best way to level up. She has been in the clan forever and a great asset to us. Look at Anat, George and Zemus. They didn't get to be great skillers overnight. Just try it.

If you're not a war person, try a little harder. Bug Joe for advice. He loves killing stuff. It is what he lives to talk about. He has dust on him cause he has been around so long. From my own experiences in combat/raid things, I can say it gets better with practice. If I can do this anyone can. You don't have to be a Glenn or BTO. You just have to do your best and stop complaining.

The morale of the post is:

Do on to others as you would have them do to yourself.

Thank you Garrett and Dallar.
“The day soldiers stop bringing you their problems
is the day you have stopped leading them.
They have either lost confidence that you can help them
or concluded that you do not care.
Either case is a failure of leadership.”
