I was in a junior skill clan and trained for like a month straight to get to be full member.

We already did it once. Go look up "DG". It worked, for a while. If you want to talk to a bunch of the oldbies who used to be in it, most of them are still over at Oak Island Pirates? clan.

I dont think we have enough power to be running a junior clan and WG at the same time.

the way i see it is that a junior clan is most likely to build loyal members than just having them go thru a rigorous application process...

heck. u might have reg members go thru junior clan boot camp for 1 month instead of waiting for events to happen. i can guarantee most trials are sitting on their bottoms waiting and anxious to be active.

in any case. i believe if big al has the ideal he needs to build a plan and a team.

We're already lacking in events as it is, so I don't see where we're going to get the drive to build an active junior clan from scratch.

I don't think it is worth the effort unless it generates new events for everyone. In that case it is just a sneaky way of creating a new kind of activity. Which would be interesting.

come on..if we look for the excellent opportunity to get started we're wasting time.

i say the time is now. we just need support and a leader to guide this plan to the ground..i mean drive the nail on the donkey! >.<

Why are you both ignoring what everyone else is saying? I knew this would be a bad idea as soon as I saw it in IRC, and its pretty obvious from the voting that it isnt popular with the rest of the clan no matter how many "come on" or "pleases" you say.

We used to have a Junior Clan (twice), it was called the Descendant Guardians (DG) and it wasnt hugely successful either of the times that it was created. That was back when WG was a much larger clan than it is today, and when recruitment was FAR easier than it is now.

How do you expect us to create a clan for 'lower levels' when we allready have recruitment issues in WG. I know you and Al think that its a great idea because you each had 2 or 3 mates that are training to 100 combat, but 2-3 mates each does not make a clan, espescially since I would almost gaurantee that most of those couldn't be bothered doing the work to app or remain active if they got accepted.

If you want to recruit, why not keep on going with trying to recruit FOR WG? ohmy.gif

just a thought..

wat i thought about getting the outcome from this was to get more people entering the clan, once they reach a good level and feel they're ready we can have them in our clan

Why would people want to join the junior clan of a clan with barely 60 members?

Look, I ran the last attempt we made at a junior clan with Stokenut.

Yes it was cool for the first bit. It's just not sustainable. In theory it is an excellent thing to have but we have all learned that it's just not a viable option. Especially not at this juncture in time when the supposed senior clan is not really at the top of its game.

LISTEN TO THE OLDER MEMBERS.

Remember when we raised requirements not too long ago and then put them back down?

That was an "I told you so" moment for the vets of the clan. Please listen to us this time.

so be it.

its only a suggestion. lol, its probably best for it to become a private sector separate of wg but for a cause.

as for the main sector it has become quite slow.
as we can see there is no innitiative to maintain members and most of the members now are those that have some degree of loyalty and understand that its not about where you go but how you make the best out of it.

with that said. we have two options and that is a go or no go =D

we all know we are going back to the same system for a no go.
as for the go...

there's the past but i've known that past change overnight. which is why we have a present and choices we make establish our future.

with that vision in mind i have an idea of a future. just too LAZY

to do anything about it..yawn

see ya on the flip side..great idea but needs more flare and structure

I remember wg raids being dg raids and dg having no separate deal.

DG was fun, but no. Not again.
