It's assumed they've already got some of the gear, and it's really off-putting to demand 5M from a person who is still on the outside of the clan. We should build them up tentatively. -------------------- | ||||

If they have the money but not the gear and we get into a fight, it means we're down 1 member for 10 minutes while he goes and buys gear. Are we becoming a clan for only the rich? I have the gp but I know there are those among us that will struggle. Be careful what you are demanding, as our entry lvl people are only lvl 100. Did you have 5 mil at lvl 100 to spend on gear to lose for the wg cause? That is a better question for our leadership to be looking at. Just cause we all have the gp doesn't mean the lvl 100's applying will have it. Look beyond your own banks. It is not whether you can afford it with 200 million sitting in your bank but rather are you going to be turning away the guy that is struggling to just have gear to come to two raids. Demanding cash or items to be a part of WG just doesn't seem like the best plan. I agree we need to be ready and willing. Just mandatory sounds so final and demanding. If you decide to do this, I caution you to word it very carefully. Instead of doing what we are doing now: "We are going to have MEGA RAIDS, and you will want to attend them because we are cutting all other events to make you REALLY REALLY bored." 2 months later... "Lets work our way up the RAW ranks, that is where we can really make a name for ourselves." 4 months later... "RAW is lame. PKRI's are where it is at. We need to do more of them. And remember to return plz." 3 months later... "Huh...it turns out alot of those people who joined to PK were not actually that loyal. Well, we were historically more of a warring clan, that is our strength and we should stick to it." 2 months later... "P2P FTW! Oh, and you need to get 7mil worth of gear." It is pretty easy to make 2 mil in under 2 hours at any lvl these days. If they don't think they can manage that I will gladly help. Its not a mater of gp, gp is easy at the moment. Ya and Karil has a great point. If were too crazy and overbearing with p2p we'll get too saturated in it and become bored and indifferent. There should be balance between varied pvp events and a good amount of skilling/chilling events. Why not do it all somewhat on an equal lvl? We'll be well balance in the skills of those events without become too quickly tired of them. In long run it will help to maintain our drive toward pvp. I'd hate to see us hate p2p in two months or whatever. It really is a cool thing in rs with many varied tactics with terrain and maneuvering. --------------------   | ||||

Yea, p2p requires alot more skill and stuff. Even with 60 opts of people. With the right tactics, you can clear double your opts. Which back in the good old days, we used todo regularly. In f2p its all about who has the most opts...simple as that....cash is ridiculously easy to come by now. Anyone that doesnt have over 2 mill..is either plain retarded...Or just lazy.
