As much as I like being an Elite Guardian, I deserve to be Emeritus. I asked for Emeritus. I am not the only one.

As far as I know it can't be much more than this:

Admin CP > Find User > Type Lefty2802 > Click Submit > Edit Details > Change Group > Submit

If you click then that would be 7 clicks. Do note that this information is coming off of Invisionfree forums, so I know they can be a bit different from what WG is running.

I am not the only one. I could name a handful of people who have requested something and their request has not been processed. If you want to look more accurate, get on the freakin' job. Seriously. 2 days after the day I requested to be Emeritus on and I am still an Elite.

I can not say it enough. Simply do your freakin' work.

Perhaps you should remember something.

One: All of the staff are stretched out of their fucking minds running the Olympics which starts on Sunday. You can't possibly know how much work there is to be done, but as well as doing all the WG stuff, the Staff have been setting it ALL up on TBE forums.

Two: The rule is three days, just like with leaving, in case you change your mind.

Three: Posting rudely will not get it done quicker. In fact i'm going to go and do
something more important than this request (ie: accepting 3 applications)....

It's alot more tha 7 clicks, it needs to be changed on both memberlists as well.

And you'd also need to type your RSN, which if you typed would be 9 keys, or if you click it would be 9 clicks on the windows on screen keyboard.

I can exaggerate too.

Its a fair point. That rule's been around a while.

The council are only human, they're not paid to do it. They've got their hands full as it is. Anything more than 3 days, OK its worth re-mentioning it. Its a lot more efficient to do it in bulk, hence wait for a number of people, because it does need changing it on memberlists as owen says.

No lies mate, i've lost respect hearing that. That's a disgraceful way to talk to the guys who work their asses off to do charity to you. What gives you the right to give them orders? Man..

Sorry we're not mindless robots waiting to answer every request. Posts like this make me wonder why we even bother to serve.

A few things:

The original post was a lot more serious and flaming than I wanted it to be, or planned for it to be. Excuse me and sorry about that.

However, a serious post like this might make someone remember to stay conscious of things such as this, or it could make someone not do it on time just in spite.

To George: I did post 6 days ago. :S
To Owen: Add in the memberlists and you add about 20 clicks and a handful of keystrokes. I would say add 5 more clicks if you forget the names and passwords to the memberlists.

I would like to note that there is a member who requested ex-member or emeritus over a month ago. Unless the issue was resolved and no one was told, then yeah, excuse me on this issue too.

Thank you Garrett and Dallar.

Either case is a failure of leadership.”
