I played Dungeons & Dragons Online for a few months two or three years ago; I really liked the mechanics (especially the combat system and the huge variability within each class/multi-classing) but WoW endgame won out in the end. But now it's free; I don't know what the catch is but I'll probably be looking into it later.

Ok i just had a quick look into it as this looked interesting before.

It appears theyve implemented a VIP system which costs $14.99 per month, and less for multi-month plans.
