My WG History I'll start from when i first found out about WG. It was summer of 2005, I was looking for any clan to join really. I found WG through Google i believe, and was directed to the WG.com site. Immediately I thought this was the clan for me. Sadly to my knowledge I was too low combat to join (I was about 80 combat back then) and I was too young and stupid to know about DG. I was purely F2p=P and had not much more interest in RS and knowing i couldn't join WG I decided to quit for about a year. I came back the summer of 2006, got P2P trained up to 100 cmb in a matter of a week or so(OLD PC WAS THE SHIT) and well... I quit RS again. I decided to come back to RS February of 2007, got P2P and instantly knew i had to join a clan to keep going in RS. I remembered WG, and found out about everything. I intro'd and applied soon after. WG brought me into SS which was how i even learned about IRC and taking screenies uber fast. From the day i intro'd i knew that WG was the place for me. I joined after D-Day but it still seemed so great to me. I was active and such from day 1, but never really into PvP. I did it for the first couple of months because it was something new but i never enjoyed it too much. Then the skill sectors came out and i moved into the skilling sector. I never knew why it took me so long to advance in WG. I always thought i was the ideal member. I attended events, i made events, i went to wars(even though i wasn't into them back then) and i gave the best input i could possibly give. Then in late September of 2007 i got my promotion to Higher Gaurdian. I was so happy i just gave even more to WG. I applied for Skills Leader, lost to George (lol voting process...) And after that i probably applied for that and council another 3-4 times until my next promotion. I was promoted to Elite by Jenny on December 31st 2007, she always knew i tried real hard for WG and thought i deserved it so she gave it to me under the books. By that time, the wilderness was removed, trade limit was in action and the GE was out. This was a big impact on everyone, i took it in perspective and quit RS and took time off to just chill. I went Emeritus for about 3 months, came back to RS and was ready to roll. Immediately i was back in action doing my thang. A month or 2 in i applied for council, Dale got it. He told me as soon as he got council that i was getting promoted to EL, so i shouldn't have been disheartened. From early 2008 to now I've been a tertiary of WG. I've given advice as to how WG has ran for the last 1.5 years or maybe longer. I've seen people come and go, drama happen, ups and downs as a leader. For the last year or so I really took in PvP and how WG is worked up about it. It really helped me understand WG even more as people always thought me to be a skiller. Worked hard for some time now, and i think that time is long gone. My time is up. Reasons for my departure The reasons being so are a lot. I've taken a long hard week to this decision and I think I'm doing the right thing. The main reason this came up is because I've just lost interest in the game. I have all the stats, I have all the money, I have all the items, quests, anything. There really isn't anything left(for now at least) that can interest me enough to keep me and that has been the issue for the last probably 6 months i can say so. I tried to keep it alive with PvP, and when BTO brought us to P2P I thought there was something to keep me going. Well we don't have that same rush anymore and I really just need something. It's been a while and well I'm really just burned out. I believe I've given a lot to WG and just not enough has been given back. But hey, that's leadership. I think it's safe to say that I've been through everything, as a member and a leader. School is starting in about a week for me. I'm going to be a Sophomore in High school. Last year my grades weren't as high as i wanted them to be. I'm an amazing student and high 80's/low 90's doesn't cut it for me. I really need to keep my head in the books this year. Besides that the month of Ramadan has been going for the last week, and will for another 3 weeks. I've been fasting, and will be for another while. I lose sleep because i have to wake up at 4am to eat before sunrise. I can eat again after sunset which is at about 7:30pm. After that i eat dinner, and i go to a prayer which takes up my whole night. So i really have no time on my hands to spare once school starts. I have weekly basketball practice sessions before and after the season starts which is around late November. I have a full season which lasts until late February. During that time i have NO spare time. I really thought that it wouldn't come to this. I didn't think i was ready, I just didn't want to give up on you guys so early. I keep thinking there is still something left in me for WG, but i have to draw the line somewhere and this is it. I didn't want to leave without council because that was really something I wanted in WG. I really wanted to make a difference before i retired, but things don't always go as you want, aye? Heh, you're a real great friend man. Working with you as EL has been great. You're very mature and you just know what to do. I hope you get council because i can see great things coming from you. GL in uni bro, i wish you the best IRL Angus0000 - Jacob! Ahh bro you've been here almost as long as i have! Haha, i remember when i first met you i was so excited that i had a fellow runite miner. You've been an amazing friend of mine for the last couple years, and i'm happy you stuck with WG. Back_To_Own - Kevin... Ohh geez man. You've been my best friend from the start. I remember you back in the day with low ass def, and we all made fun of you. You loved pking in general, and knew you could someday be big in WG. You made it to RL, then to council, and Warlord man... We've been through a lot together bro, I can say you gave me a lot of laughs along the way and I'm sad I had to be first to leave. But I mean i was first to get tert, and im first to leave it so its all good haha? You've always wanted the best for WG, and I really do salute you for being so generous man. I'm glad you finally got a decent IRL lol. Bambaleo - Hey Bamb dude. I was checking my FL a few days ago just to see who i added when and I noticed you were the 3rd person i had added in WG. Since i met you, i looked you up and you had some beast stats Lol. From day 1, I always wished i could be as high as you. Just stay cool man. Bassism - Lol Owen, (15:27:51) -RuneScript- *** [ URBAN ]: "bassism" 1. Prejudice against bass players. Haha! You've been through a lot with WG, probably more than me. You're a real funny guy, and a good, kind friend. I wish you GL in the council elections, i know you can do well with WG again. Blackraide88 - Hey dude, i haven't really met you so well and I'm sorry i have to leave you like this. Bpn - Yooooooooooooohoooooooooooooo BPN, my man! I remember back in the day when i met you. All those weird talks on TS with Dale. Haha i can easily say you are probably top 3 funniest people i know ever. Since you rejoined you and I have gotten a lot closer, and i'm very pleased with that because you're a real swell guy. Chaddaman124 - Chad, lol i feel like you're always the person who's lost and asking for location on raids. Again, I never personally talked to you but from what i see your a real decent guy. Chappell44 - Dan, or should i say Danielle!@#!$!@#  When you first told everyone you were a guy, I wasn't surprised L Since then you and I have became real close actually. You're a good guy, but sometimes you're temper gets the best of you so try and keep that steady man. You work really hard, you're a great RS player, and i hope to you the best.Chimp_Guy0 - /facepalm Inb4SMDSAAD. Go train srsly L. With you being low leveled i always just saw you as a kid. So i always thought of you as the kid leader of WG. You want the best for WG, you strive to push WG to the edge and jeez i give you props man. Chip54321 - Ohh Chip. You are easily one of the nicest people I know in WG. You are always so calm and kind to everyone, always willing to lend the helping hand. I'm glad you came back from emeritus, because we need more of you Chip. Dangy_13 - Lol recently we've been tight. Talking a lot, and I'm honestly really happy that you come to me with you're problems, makes our friendship closer. Darkzero101 - DZ, no. Sean. Back when it was you, zach and rob as WG's 3 leaders we were unstoppable. Then you took over as warlord and I had so much respect for you, we never lost. You taught me how to tank real well, explained it to me. Then you went into retirement and we lost touch. But when you came back bro, I feel we got closer than ever. You're a real phenomenal person, always making me and others laugh. You have one of the best judgment I have ever seen, always making big decisions and such when it matters and even when it doesn't. You have been my friend for a long time man, and i really thank you for that. You helped me with this decision too and i really applaud you man. P.S Colts got it this year bro. Darth_Magul - Lol Kyle, my Darfie. Ever since you joined and set foot or w/e on TS we've been friends. I always found you to be the funniest person. You got council over me, which I have been jealous about but i can't hold a grudge on Darfie?! Like i'd be crazy. One of my best frands in WG. Edanias - Hey Ed. One of the few females in WG that we all so adore and love. You're very kind and helpful, always looking to be on the better side of people. I'm glad there are people like you in WG, help keep the balance of peace. Flame5107 - OWENNNNN! Ohh man Owen let's start with you're RS account. You are the quietest person on RS i know. Every little achievement to you is HUGE to everyone. You sneak such amazing stats in and we all find out when you post in the achievements forum lol. Now onto you as a person L. You and I have been friends for some time now. Just being around you i feel like a better person. You're always doing something to help everyone else. You are up for anything that anyone else wants to do. Just a great person overall man. For_Sooth - Sooth, hmm. I must give you props man, having your own bot and scripts. I think that is the neatest thing. I could imagine owning my own bot. You're real technical and smart, too bad you went emeritus. Gorgemaster - George, ur gay. LOLOL jk but like. You try and make things work too much man, you gotta just take it easy. I guess that's what you do when you go on vacation for a month then come back for 3 days and go away again LOLOLOL. jk but like you're cool and all. Honestly, try to take it easy. You know i wub u. LMFAO. I actually started cracking up IRL from that. I could actually imagine your voice in my head saying that. Sad to see this, but we all have our time. You've been one of my closest friends in WG. I could always count on you whenever. I love all the TS moments we had together while corping, skilling (for me, WoWing), etc. Theres so many other things I can say, but theres simply too much. I think you'll understand how I feel anyway  . The feelings mutual.Glad that you're staying. Out of all the friends I've made online, you would be one of them I'd be really saad to lose touch with. Obviously I don't have the stats that some people do, but its high enough for me to realize "wow, do I really need to keep going?" At a certain level this game just isn't amusing anymore because Jagex doesn't cater towards end-game enough. Its easy to forget how long you've been tertiary and 1.5 years is a damn long time! To handle the pressures for that long is incredible, you must be one of the longest lasting leaders in the history of the clan. It sure aint an easy task, but you've definitely put your heart into it. Your feelings about RS are natural, we all go through life becoming more or less interested in things. Once you lose the interest, you lose the drive. You've clearly held on for the good of the clan, but everything comes to a natural end sooner or later. I still have memories of seeing you as a new member, your name sticks I'm glad I was one of the first who introduced such a great member into the family, really glad you settled in (and you sure did!)You better stay in touch mate, let us know how your future goes. All the events and time spent for WG has been amazing. Your selfless acts of giving really can't go unnoticed. I've always looked up to you for your dedication. I think about the months I had Saad for raid leader in my signature and only you and I noticed it. lol I got mad when I thought someone else messed with it. Thanks for the words of wisdom last month when I posted my goodbye. I knew I shouldn't of let that person get to me so much to just want to leave. I always loved that you were one of those people if you talk to just didn't go repeat it all. Thanks. I'm glad your staying Elite, but the grades are for the rest of your life. You are making the best decision. Good Luck with that. I was to socially busy to worry about grades. I never did any homework ever out of school. I passed with a B average but still could of done much better. Funny how I get referred to as WG mother cause my hero is Mother Teressa. Good luck with the fasting/prayer that is a hard thing to do but very rewarding.
