It's been a while since my last introduction, so I'm gonna post another one. 1. Tell us about your RS history, and also about your account (e.g. how you came to name it how it is named, what you like to do etc) : I started playin back in 2003. Since then, i've played off and on-until i got involved with clans, i'd take breaks ever so often and be gone for a few months. My name came from an old text-based rpg website I hosted back in the day. My character was The Imperator. When Ruenscape was discovered and the site fell apart, I moved to rs with the same name. I started out in what is now known as "Classic", walkin around all stiff-legged and constipated lookin. I trained, back when you couldn't eat while fightin or stop a battle before the first 3 hits, or "turns". I still remember gettin scammed with the whole "change your pass and hit alt+f4" bit, and losin my iron armor, which I had worked so hard for. (It makes me laugh, lookin back. Funny how hard iw orked for somethin i can now sell one item to buy a thousand of). Losin it drove me to get it back, and eventually I got my first set of Mithril armor. When RS2 came around, I was runnin around in rune and an addy plate with what I thought was an awesome weapon-a "Rune 2hr" I used to like to do quests alot. I got bored with it, despite the fact that i'm no where near a quest cape. I've made attempts at gettin 99 in this or that, but I always get bored due to the repetitiveness. Now, after nearly a 2 month break from RS (seems so much longer!) I'm back, and on a mission to make money the old fashioned way-Skills. Screw merchanting. Once I finish my various projects, I'll be well on my way to my goal-Bandos armor. Luckily, i'll have some left over for rune sets and what not.  2. Tell us more about yourself (Your age, where you are from, gender, Hobbies, Music, What you dislike/like): Well, my name's Jonny, and i'm 22. I serve in the United States Navy, been in for over a year. Currently stationed in Conencticut. As far as hobbies, well...i play RS, i write, run, and ocassionally, I even do that sports thing they call soccer here in the states. No, actually, I do that alot. I jsut bought myself a new pair of cleats, and I lvoe em muchly. Oh, and I thoroughly enjoy clans. I've led two of them, one of which i helped Found. 3. How did you hear about WG and what makes you want to join the clan: I stumbled upon it back when i was in the 80's as far as Combat is concerned. I have no idea now how I came across the website, but I remember how impressive it was. (mind you, this was the website in it's former state, before the current flashy/shiny version that's all animatey and musicy) I can't remember for sure, but I wanna say it was sometime in late 2005 that I came across it. Sometime before the 3rd anniversary, i believe...I saw a message about it somewhere, but due to my lack of memory at the moment, it could have been a post-thread about the event for a 3rd anniversary after it was over. Maybe I'm confused, but i know for a fact tyhat i've been "around" since the 3rd year was celebrated. Anyhooo, Ever since I first saw it, and read that it was a clan dedicated to killing Pkers, I've loved the thought of contributing to it. I didn't meet the requirements at the time for WG, but I was able to get into DG. I remember goin to some events, but then goin inactive due to school. When I came back, WG's requirements were higher, DG was gone, and I was stuck. I was mad at first, but I got over it, and started trainin to join Wildguard. When the reqs went up a 2nd time, just as I was approaching them, I was yet again frustrated. I felt a dedication to joining and becoming an ARPker, but I was tired of being denied it at the proverbial last minute, so I ended up joining a clan called Life of Pestilence on a whim. In this clan, I worked hard, and was soon promoted. It wasn't WG, but it was somethin, and I had a purpose-i scheduled Events. Lookin back, it didn't seem to last long enough. The friends I made there have been some of the closest I've ever had in RS, and only a few of them still play. LoP died, and I was one of 4 Founders of the clan built on top of it's ruins, Redemption. Well, Redemption died too, when the clan split in half. I went back to a clan I had been a "Recruiter" in, Tribute. I eventually got the Leader position, and made an attempt to rebuild it as well. Rebuilding clans isn't my forte, I've discovered. I'm tired of being in charge, and havin to worry about this and that, event times and days, how best to cater to members in timezones ranging from California to Lithuania, and what to do about recruiting. I'd like to start back at the bottom. If, in the future, I work my way up in ranks, then fine. If not, also fine-I'm not joining WG simply to become a Council or a Leader some day..I just like being a part of a tight-nit community. If it happens in the future, cool. But i'm not gonna be a member just to get promoted.  WildGuard has been around for a long time, and I've been around WG for a little while. I've seen people leave and come back, I've seen WG suffer through rocky times, and I've seen WG in what some might consider to be its Prime. All in all, WG is a strong Community, and I'd like to be a part of it, if you'll have me.  4. Are there any current WG members who you already know: Yes Txtawkin is one, George and Arsenal, School Boy i've spoken to a good bit. Some others that i know somewhat are Colin, Havoc, Sooth, Vephy, Valdremia, Colonel, Mango, and Lordy I still have quite a few added-Vephy, Val, Aresenalfan, Txtawkin, Anatsu, Colin, Eregion, Starzshine, Indivi, sooth, and Big Al. Not sure if they're all still members, but they're on my list. EDIT-(see? told ya I'd think of somethin) I know several former members also. Folks like Twix, Tmal, and Kero. <3 5. Any additional comments: Yes. I realize that I've intro'd in the past. At the time, I still didn't meet the requirements, and had plans to join as soon as I met them. I was 3 combat levels away at the time. Now that I'm back in RS, this time for more than a few months, I'm ready to go again. I haven't looked at the requirements, cause I don't care to until my intro is done. I plan to get 105 f2p combat regardless, and wont apply until I do. I just wanted to get this part done, so those of you that know/remember me will know that i'm here to join this time. That's all for now, I think...God knwos I'll think of at least one thing to edit in before the night's over. I hope to see some of those folks I mentioned up there post, so I'll know that they know that I'm here. Impy --------------------  | ||

Heh welcome to the boat  T'is one hell of an intro you've got there... I'm relatively new here and it's cool seeing one of the seriously oldschool members return  so welcome back!
