Hey y'all, Imp again with another suggestion. rolleyes.gif

Let's think back to the good ol' days of the Wilderness-when rpkers ran wild, killing anything that moved with no reservation. This is when ARpk clans had their best days protecting the innocent skillers and explorers.

But in 2008, Jagex decided that ending the Wilderness as it had been for nearly seven full years would be the ultimate solution to RWT. Bouny Hunter and Clan Wars were born.

Some time later, we saw the introduction of "PvP Worlds". ARpking was, in a sense, reborn. The clans could once again venture into the most dangerous areas in Runescape, to defend those that have no desire to fight.

However...I can't help but wonder...What about those Innocents in non-PvP worlds?

Consider the skillers-those that kill green dragons for experience and to make money. Think of the miners, trying their hardest to collect rune ore. Prices in the Runescape Market are climbing and, although many items may crash, prices are still high. Loosing a full inventory may not seem like a big deal to higher level players, but to a low level skiller, it can be quite the setback.

But...it's not a PvP world, what could kill them?

Revenants.

These ghostly warriors are suppsoed to be the new "Rpkers", are they not?

So...why are we, The Shield of the Innocent, neglecting the players that are being attacked in non-PvP worlds?

I would like to suggest a new event led by our Raid Leaders. You can think of it as living by the philosophies WildGuard was founded upon, as going further to live up to our title, or even as practice for PvP Raids that would actually pit us against other clans.

For new members that are inexperienced with PvP in a clan sense, this could be an excellent preliminary event for them to get up to speed. To learn the tactics and the commands issued during your standard raid, for example.

So...Raid Leaders? Mr. BTO? What do you say to some Revenant Hunting? evilneko.gif

Rev's are a joke and are no fun to kill as a team, if you really want to kill them, it's easy to do on your own (I quite frequently kill a few when doing w60 penguins etc.).

These aren't any comparison to a real PK'er or even any comparison to Rpk'ers, unless a skiller is totally useless they should be able to take one out with a whip & some food.

I will admit that they're fun to take on by yourself, but I can't see it being a good team event because you'd find it too easy really.

It has been done as an event before.... but not many times and I think that was because, as Evil said, people found it boring and stopped attending the event.
There just isn't any call/demand for it tongue.gif
