I remember back in the day... when there used to be a wilderness... them were the good old days, when I lost a full set of rune in a war. And then another due to a friendly fire incident in a raiding party. Then I was banned, permanently. So I couldn't in WG. Then I got unbanned, and I registered another account here a year back (old one got deleted) and then I didn't visit, and now I'm visiting again.

So does anyone know how the old clan has been holding up?

I don't remember you.
WG aren't what they used to be but some of the old guys are still around and it's a nice place to just chill without being too serious about anything.

Would be nice to see WG become a top clan again though.

Jesper,

Give us a few examples of other clans that shut down for a day and still are going? Or some other clan that has as active ex members, emeritus as WG does?

You're being judgmental with no evidence. That is not a good thing. Try to look at it from a point of view that is a little less bias from your personal experience. I'm not flaming but simply want you to re-evaluate your comment to see the error in it.

Just ignore it Rachel.

There have been dozens of clans who said WG would close and even more people. Funny thing is that a lot of these clans have now closed or those people have now retired.

WG has been around for 5 or 6 years now without closing (not counting those 3 hours) that is a lot longer than most clans nowadays.

NI, nMe, Scum, RoT, SE, BD, SA, FT and several more.

Maybe you guys should just lower the level requirement instead of trying to make another Descendant Guardians? I think my time on runescape went like this. Wilderness guardians when level requirement was 80+ then I got bored of runescape for a few months and came back to end up in the Descendant Guardians with Oak Island and his crew. Then I remember that He quit and started his own clan and some of the members quit and followed him which caused great confusion and misunderstandings so I decided to just leave it until things cooled down. Then I was permabanned. Then I got unpermabanned, and now I'm here again.

So yeah, has lowering the requirements ever hurt ya any?

Well DG1 closed because of communication and leadership problems, and DG2 fell victim to the leadership problems (Gene, Xena, etc). But WG's on a steady uphill stretch now and I personally think DG would be pretty successful and a nice asset for the time being. We could maintain it IMO.

Well, from what I hear it seems like that. We definitely have gotten back on our feet since the slump but thing's aren't depleting as far as I can see. There's a steady in-flow of members, the events are good from what I hear... we're either leveling out or slowly growing.

Although I can't see the leaving forums so unless you guys are getting 1 member leaving every hour I don't see anything bad happening
