I love Coheed. I personally classify that music as progressive, so here are a few bands:

Porcupine Tree
Dream Theater
Opeth (Might a be a few screamy songs)
Maybe a little Trivium or Dir En Grey

It is all something you have to look around for. Definitely check into Porcupine Tree though.

Speaking of which, they just released their new album on the 11th, but I haven't checked it out yet. Knowing them though, it'll probably be really cool and will probably flow together really nicely. I might go get it tomorrow when I hit Best Buy for the new AiC release.

May I add, that you might want to check out a bit more Coheed, such as In Keeping Secrets from Silent Earth 3. Really good song.
