| IRC Nickname: Fire Lion Sword Group: Emeritus Posts: 1189 Member No.: 103 Joined: January 4, 2008 Total Events Attended: 3 | Rated in descending order as posted: 6.5/10 - I don't think the C4D "mistake" is all that bad, personally, but the monochromy could/should have been avoided. 5/10 - It has a lot of potential, but the beams of light are too distracting and don't seem to fit in. 8/10 - I think the layering and blurring were done nicely. Expertly placed render too. 8/10 - The most natural-looking sig posted. The colors match well, it's blended nicely, and the render is in a good position... but there's too much empty space for its design, imo. 3/10 - Nothing seems to match. There are no "real" flaws otherwise; the colors are nice, and the render is at a good size and position. 5/10 - Again, good render placement. Good blending and lighting. However, a little too much empty space. Overall: 7.5/10 There isn't much to judge from, but from what I've seen, you still need a little practice on your text and text placement. Other than that, I can't see you getting anything but better. Text is something that I was self conscious about as the only text I was really pleased with was on the newest one. I try to place the text out of view as much as I can so it doesn't deter from the main image, but it still proves that I made it. Which is probably something I'll continue doing for a while until I can find a fitting style. I'll try to improve on the other points though, particularly the dead space. -------------------- |
