Just doing a quick survey for a project I'm working on. I've listed what I'd say are the most popular display resolutions so just choose which one you use the most. If I haven't said it, post it.

Cheers happy.gif

Ok um... if you're gonna post a different screen size than the ones listed, the aspect ratio will also be useful neko2.gif

Thank you Garrett and Dallar.

This. In fact 1280x1024 is actually becoming outdated, despite it being a far more common resolution a few years ago. And 800x600? Seriously? Are we going back to the stone age?

Yep.

Windows XP:

Right-click on desktop and select "Properties"
On the "Settings" tab, your resolution settings will be at the bottom-left corner as "screen resolution"

Windows Vista:

Right-click on desktop and select "Personalize"
Scroll down and choose "Display Settings"
Your resolution settings will be at the bottom-left corner as "resolution"

Resolution... lets see..
Laptop: 1024X768

Desktop screen(current): 1680X1050(1.6 aspect) BUT
-Firefox/main window resolution varies(I -never- do full screen)
-often 1392X820(~1.7 aspect)
-Sometimes 692X806(~.086 aspect)

Which pretty much says that if you are building an interface, make it resizable.

Challenge any creationist to a debate.
They'll run away and aggressively accuse you of "attacking" them and their "beliefs".
I'm sorry, please, keep teaching our kids that they'll burn in hell if they don't believe. Mutilate their genitals against their will while you're at it. Keep influencing politics and holding back vital scientific research.
I'll just keep my mouth shut to "respect" your "beliefs".
