Just wondering if anyone plays, or used to play.

I'm getting back into the game, and was wondering if anyone was familiar with the new stuff.

I stopped playing back in 8th grade, so 4 years worth of new expansions and new abilities with loads of shit I have no concept of...

Anyways, yeah. That is all.

I had a plains/forest deck back in the day, won like 2 tournaments but I only played b/c the cards looked really cool.

I started and stopped playing in 8th grade. Only played with my friends.

This was during the time that Platinum Angel came out. It was def illegal.

I never got that about Magic. Why do they release cards too powerful to use? Just as rare collectibles?

Yeah, they've released some cards with the craziest of abilities.

Anyway, I didn't realize we had so many people that even knew about the game, haha.
