Whenever I attempt to play music through Windows Media Player or even another program like VLC, if my headphones are inserted into my laptop nothing is played. For WMP it just says the file cannot be played and VLC just plays it with no sound.

If I play a track out of my laptop speakers, it will play and continue playing when I insert headphones. But at the end of the song will stop working again.

Any solutions? Using Vista, brand new laptop and WMP 11.

Also when I try to record audio using camtasia screen recorder, there's only an option to record my microphone. The "record computer speakers" (what i hear) option is disabled. I've never seen this happen before.

I could also do with a download link for Sibelius 6 with a keygen or something.

Save me robbie.

Thanks

-Steve

Having used Linux for about 6 months, my only problem was the inability ro run SwiftKit, Sibelius, and other programs I use regularly. As for XP... got a download link? tongue.gif

It's funny how when XP came out everyone was like... this is shit, use 98. Now with Vista everyone's the same, but wishes they still had XP lol

I'll take a look at these links now and see if there's anything I can find that helps.

Probably want to make sure you have the right drivers for you sound card. Go to the makers of your labby's website, and go to your laptop and make sure you have the most current ones.

Also try updating your vista too.

Robbie what kind of a piece of shit answer is that?

You're answer to anyone who has a problem and is running Vista is the same every time. "Switch to XP or Linux".

It's NOT practical to change your OS nor does it always solve the problem. XP is outdated junk and Linux is a tough jump to make.
