     IRC Nickname: Job| Group: Clan Friend Posts: 370 Member No.: 28 Joined: December 30, 2007 Total Events Attended: 0    | Last week sometime I went on a war with 3x (3xtermination) on one of their accounts when asked by a leader. They did a few things differently, some good but some bad. Teamcapes: All though I agrue with Abs over this, they do actually help new members. I knew none of 3x and they didn't have teamcapes on. I found it very hard to follow the pile to begin with. Teamcapes should be manitory from now on as it helps newer members. If our applications were closed and everyone knew everyone, then fine. But we don't. TEAMCAPES SHOULD BE WORN. Rune Maces i don't how often it is for you guys that you die because you ran out of prayer rather than food. Rune Maces give a +5 prayer bonus. So if you run out of prayer regulary, throw a rune mace in your inventory and equip that when you get piled. But remember, when you get piled, Prayer First, Food if needed, THEN the Mace. Don't equip it first and get yourself koed. First Pile I thought it was a bit strange when 3x piled a level 116 first, but it was an instant KO. He wouldn't have expected it at all, neigher would I, and when we're defending im gonna be scared, cause I doubt i'd have time to throw prayer on and start tanking. I think we should start attacking the higher levels first (stay 110+). Also, they did a countdown on TS for when to attack, not just the leader attack ingame. Worked better IMO. And spam: "Red:@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@" works kinda cool aswell, we allready to it sometimes though. Pileing Traditionally, we would say "W on ....". However, what 3x did was just spam "x" to make a spam tower so other could see where they were. However, all names were called on TS. It worked great, and if somebody doesn't have soundeffects on and isn't paying attension to their HP. Its an instant KO. Not sure what you'll think of all these but I think they're good. I've suggested the ingame spamming of just W before- it makes it much easier/faster to spam+ combined with calling on Ts, could be much more effective than our normal tactic -------------------- Sig? |

Pileing : agree with you again , everyone say their name. First Pile : Agree about you again, we usually pick lower levels first but everytime they are expecting it. and its always me that tells others to have @@@ on --------------------   |

I do believe teamcapes should be mandatory esp. in F2P for the exact same reasons stated. As for P2P, in fights like matched opts, then other capes with more bonuses should be worn 'cos you should already know your team anyway. When I was in RSD, they made us memorize the names of members in the clan but I guess that would be a lil too hardcore for us now lol I would still go with piling low levels first tho. You won't exactly know for sure how good someone is at tanking, whether he's lagging or if he's not paying attention. When you go for lower levels, you know for sure, his stats, esp. def, isn't that good so you can get piles going faster. If there's a need to be tactical, then leaders can be the first few targets too As long as we have spam tower, things should be good  --------------------   -The End- |

And i never knew that about the rune maces  so ima bring one next time  And yea i totally aggree that we should definatly all wear teamcapes to a war so much easier to tell who to atk and who not to atk and where ur piles are. But with the "X" spam tower thing i dissaggree with it, because if we have ppl spamming "W on ..." its the same thing except we know which person they are atking, and also our raid leaders to call the names on TS But ya god suggestions -------------------- |

Piling mid high levels at the start is good sometimes just gotta make sure its not their main tankers. You should also try piling their main TS callers/fall in leaders too helps out gud. Spam should be always kept to a brief 3 letter call as W ker. Or doing straight W to find where you are is gud. EoS has done it lots of times. Team Capes are essential. They may look like crap and stuff but it helps you get that 1 click on the enemy. And if your high level u can be a jerk and take yours off from time to time so the other teams low levels cant 1 click you.
