I'm thinking about extending the Outpost to now include non-PvP, Community like objectives. The current PvP system requires you to post your kills from PvP events for points but can only be done every once in a while. The new "community" section would be something to do every day. I'll explain:

The objectives don't involve WG as a clan, just the members individually. The tasks are not very difficult and get the player involved in various Runescape activities. Every day a staff member will update the task list depending on the day, for example:

Minigame Mondays (Trawler, GOP, Barrows, MA..)
Team Tuesdays (CW, BA, SW, PC, SC..)
Penguin Wednesdays (Complete the D&D)
Treasure Trail Thursdays (Complete a treasure trail)
Boss Killing Fridays (KBD, KQ, Bork, nothing too difficult..)
PvP Saturdays (FoG, Duel Arena Tourney, Fight pits, actual PvP?)
Slayer Sundays (complete X slayer tasks)

Doing something on your own allows you to go at your own pace and possibly spark an interest of that activity. Familarizing yourself with the stuff to do in the game could quite possibly increase attendance, but it will definently increase in-game activity.

Each task would be posted with a "code" to put in the chat box for confirmation. Completing 4/7 tasks will earn you 1 attendance point and completing all 7 will earn you 2. Here are some example tasks:

Tuesday - Win two games of Soulwars. Code = joeisnh

Friday - Slay the Kalphite Queen (teams allowed). Code = kqisnh

Sunday - Complete two slayer tasks (any difficulty). Code =slaythenh

Would you participate in something like this?

I might be tempted to try some new things. I'm not sure which ones yet, but I did enjoy the KBD trip yesterday.

Thank you Garrett and Dallar.
“The day soldiers stop bringing you their problems
is the day you have stopped leading them.
They have either lost confidence that you can help them
or concluded that you do not care.
Either case is a failure of leadership.”

would defeat the integrity of the outpost as an achievement.

this is possible as a separate project but the fact that the outpost is awfully difficult to achieve is one to appreciate.

I think it would become redundant after a while, but might be fun for a little bit. I don't know if it would be worth the trouble in the long run though.

But that's my opinion from someone who doesn't like to deviate from goals, once they are set. That's my play style, but for others this might work better.

I love your idea but you should consider limiting the activity otherwise it will be an administrative nightmare.
