So ye, I dezine fansy nu worn sistem 4 not sining up

1) Signing up for every event with a prep over 3 days is MANDATORY. **

2) For every war/raid that you don't sign up for, you instantly get a warn level. ***

3) If you sign up as Yes and don't come TWICE, then you will be warned. ****

4) If you don't come to 3 events in a row WITHOUT legitimate reason, you will be warned, and if youre really that inactive probably kicked eventually.

5) Every Raid/War, matched or what have you, will be treated as EXTREMELY IMPORTANT, and will as stated have mandatory sign ups.

-----

** - Meaning that anything over 3 days prep, EVERYONE must sign up. Under 3 days and you're inactive at the time for whatever reason, and you don't sign up, ur gud.

*** - For every 3 events consecutively signed up for after that, warn level for not signing up gets erased.

**** - For every 2 events that you do sign up as yes for and do ccome to, warn will be erased.

So yeah, if you guys really want to get serious about attendance and activity, here you go.

NOTE: THIS ONLY PERTAINS TO PVP EVENTS.

It sounds good, but people through this could start treating warning levels as currency..

Do you understand that almost every clan just kicks the members that don't sign up/don't go?

WG has done close to nothing about the slackers and that's why so many people do it. They don't care because we don't care. Once the leadership actually does something about it maybe it will knock some sense into people.

I always support making people WANT to go to something over FORCING them, but really what else is there to try? We frequently switch between F2P and P2P, make mandatory sign ups, and have several other mini competitions to try and increase activity.

This won't solve people coming just signing up, all they have to do is lie.

It helps weed out the inactives.

I forgot to put in a peice about signing up as yes and not coming, thanks for reminding me wub.gif.

edit: Added in.

What about those that always sign up for a no? If an "active" guardian (trial, regular, higher, elite, and even staff and council) is not active enough to come to say 3 PvP events in a row, are they active enough to be part of WG?

This gets into activity and supporting the clan as a whole.

EDIT: Do know.. I am saying this about those who have not posted a legitimate reason for not being able to come.

Staff, while I hate having a quick turnover rate and knowing how much shit they go through, should try to have a bit higher standards than guardians. Even still, they get their legitimate reasons. Extended inactivity from staff pisses me off a bit though, especially when it is something like "being too busy IRL" or "studies are getting in the way".

I just got way off of the direction that I meant this edit to go in. Excuse me.

I thought we had a system in place where if you don't come to 3 wars in a row without legit reason you get warned. Maybe it was scrapped idk, I'll add into first post.

MORE F2P
F2P WEEKLY RAIDS
F2P PKRIs
F2P WARS
THERE'S NOT ENOUGH

Also deep wild in the PvP or BH (Not BH+1) worlds is preferred.

By signing up do you mean coming? Or just saying "yes" "maybe" or "no" in advance?

I think... Rather than using a totalitarian approach, you should try using rewards. I mean, we already have activity sweeps so that part isn't a big concern. Have something like an award every month, and hand it out.

i.e. - Best Binder or something like, or Most Kills.

Most people still won't sign up just to get an award imo.

the idea is sound and in all truth, its has to follow the strategic approach of the clan.

if this is in place, what is the approach towards, is it to improve attendance to events or to identify those whom purpose is not inline with the overall clan objectives and in so improving their activity towards the clan.

one thing i've always understood about wg compared to clans that are currently above is that our strength is solely on influence. assimilating is inevitable and change is necessary for continued growth. thus this suggestion is excellent if it meets the overall goal of the clan

*a last thought*

darths current objective is to boost the clan numbers and growth within the community. if your idea helps out this cause then i request a quick evaluation and a sentence stating how it helps us become greater in numbers and community wise. you do not have to answer this but its imperative you do since this question has probably been asked in many forms by many of our fellow clan members.

Is meant to help improve sign ups, which improves turn outs, which makes more wins, which makes more people join.

Time to get serious. (edit: about sign-ups and stuff)

I completely support the idea. Any other clan, if your not active to attend 3 wars, then you get kicked, but most have 6 pks a week. Miss 3 = kicked..we have them like 3 weeks on the trot..its not hard..Simple..

i have ranted and raved a lot over the past 23 days in WG and in all honesty i find this the best way to increase activity, not only will it weed out inactives it helps with people actually coming and caring, on the other hand let me say this. People do not understand that when you JOIN a clan it is a commitment its a commitment you make and you MUST obey. People don't understand that these days they think they can just join and thats that, they attend when they want. Maybe make it a bit more obvious that WARS/Raids/skilling events there all part of a commitment and if you cannot come to terms with that commitment GTFO because people who are inactive.. i could name a few who i have problems with ( i won't ) who i personally in my 13 events 2 wars and like 6 raids here in WG. there are people who don't even post on forums, won't sign up for literally ANYTHING PvP. they are useless and a waste of space. Honest opinion there. I love WG and its the only reason i still play RS. but there are people who need the GTFO becuase we don't see them, here from them or anything of that type.. they aren't even a member they could b in a completely different clan and we wouldn't even know. nuff said this is a great idea chimpy i fully 100% support this and i hope council and leaders see it the same way me and you do chimp.

Sigh . . . I don't think it will fix it. It will start major whining.

Darth has a plan to have more people so that this isn't as much of a problem. Let's put our efforts into recruiting and keeping our intros that do post.

I know I don't love pvp stuff like the rest of the clan, but I can try to go to more pvp events. If you look at war attendance, I even have 18 that I've gone to.

The rule that you have to go to the major ones make me be better at going. I hope they are still enforcing this. The problem would be that one of these every three weeks means they would only have to attend one every 9 weeks to not get a warn. That works out to 5 a year.

Increased war attendance brings in recruits ultimately, not mass recruiting.

Pretty much ALL good clans have a system similiar to this...and irnoic enough their pulls are good. Most of you here in WG honestly don't have the slightest idea how easy you have it compared to other clans. It's time to step up and seize our potential, if we keep being so laid back about everything, then we'll just fall yet again.
