PVP

Our weekly ts meeting started with a brief discussion of how sometimes we run into clans that are lvl 90 to 105. They become annoying to the lower lvls that they attack and the higher lvls can't help them. A suggestion came up to bring out existing accounts that people have and wipe them out. It would have to be at the members own decision and raid leaders approval only. Not a clan policy. This would not be something that people would want to take away from their mains that we rely on them training to better the clan.

PVP SNIPE UNIT

A discussion came up over our snipers. I explained that we have a snipe unit/list of people that are our regular snipers.

From my memory that unit includes:

Jess
Joe
Steve
Bam
Andrew

All the others are not currently in WG. If you would like to be a sniper please talk to DZ, Lee or Zemus. They are the ones to make this type of decision. If someone has a link to requirements please post it on this thread.

F2P War

We recently had a f2p war and it was noted that the rules need to be gone over more before the war. It is all listed on the forum and with a week notice it would be best to ask before the war if you are unsure. A brief overview might be helpful from our leader at mass before the war.

CWA

It was noted that some of our members would like to have more CWA events. The last one was enjoyable.

Practice for Raids

A suggestion for practice for twice a month to practice. We have a lot of new members that may enjoy and benefit from this. With allies may be the best way to make these successful. Some think that once a month is enough for this. But all agreed that it would be helpful to the newer members.

I suggested an event in Steel where we practice binding each other in a race. It would have to be in a pvp world and in the wild to be really helpful. I'm going to talk to Joe about helping to plan this. It can be fun and not risk a high amount just for practice. (Joe PM me when you read this. => )

Staff

We had a brief discussion about the staff we currently have and the council opening. All seems to be going well and they look forward to the council becoming active again. Recruitment team was brought up, but nothing new to discuss atm.

George comes back in a week.

Event Suggestions

Abuse Council Week
Pants Party
More Wars
More Raids
Fri night Raid, Sat night Raid, Sunday morning raid, and Sunday night Raids

Mumble

Those that have tried it seem to think it is more clear then TS.

Our TS users are getting more and more. Often there is 5 or 6 people on as they are playing rs chatting to each other. This helps the community to get to know each other and have stronger bonds. Right now we have a very pleasant community with little annoyance to each other.

Skill Competition

As we discussed a skill competition against allies it was brought up that we like our skills Olympics to be special. This wasn't a popular event to be trying at this time. It seems our focus may need to be more on combat. More discussion could be done on this. The person who is planning it was not at the meeting.

Ended

We ended our meeting by discussing not wearing pants while you play RS. Then we went to what foods everyone wanted to have. lol Socializing took over on TS and made this a much better meeting.

Thanks to everyone that could attend this meeting.

Thank you Garrett and Dallar.
“The day soldiers stop bringing you their problems
is the day you have stopped leading them.
They have either lost confidence that you can help them
or concluded that you do not care.
Either case is a failure of leadership.”

as for events.. I suggest more F2P events in generel. I've been talking with some of our F2P members and some of them say they feel neglected.

Wars.. More training and more combat training. This goes for myself aswell. If we could motivate the entie clan to try at least get a combat level a week it would be very great but a bit optimistic (But maybe we could include it in the combat skill of the week?)

Skill competition. This would be very fun. We could talk with some of our allies at first. We could also try to arrange some kind of tournament with other clans. This could actually be alot of fun smile.gif

Agree with most of it. The binding race won't be helpful, snipers are what make our binds suck, if there's no risk then it won't help anyone learn.

I like allied practices though, I also suggest some CWRI's as well, they can really be good learning and practice for the wildy.

Sorry i couldn't be there

More F2P events/raids are needed. Mayby a CWA run-in first to 100 kills? This will be good use for everybody and not those who last longer. Plenty of chance to tank, give a wider variety of people the chance to snipe.

Another thing i think we need some sort of combat training competition, who can gain so much an hour at the training spot of their choice etc. Give people an incentive to win by offering some sort of reward.

Obviously alot more thought needs to go into those ideas which took me 30 seconds to get biggrin.gif!
