We all know that we have a very diverse clan. We offer several different things and manage to stay strong and together no matter what is thrown at us.

What is it that has drawn you in to WG?

We all have our own reasons for being here and I want to know what made you come here, and what is making you stay here.

We need to determine what the important factors are in bringing people to WG and your help is needed.

If you all would please supply us with statements or pictures of what draws you to WG, that would be a great help for us to move forward.

So please, statements and pictures are needed. Share with us what draws you to WG and what would make someone want to join our clan.

The contents of this topic will be used for recruitment purposes

Well...

What originally brought me to WG was google.com. But soon after I became trial I fell in love with WG, not because of the events, but because of the community. Pretty soon I got to be pretty good at alot of new things like, boss hunting, or just random shit. I've grown to love and stay in WG because, everything in WG is out in the open... If someone doesn't like the way things are being done, they are going to tell you honestly, and with a productive motive. When WG started slumping I realized that my interest in Runescape as a whole was slumping as well...

But the biggest reason I stay around is because of Zemus' and his...

Many things brought me back to WG.

The primary thing is that everyone in this clan is awesome. We just attract every awesome piece of ass in runescape.

What originally brought me to WG was that I once warred against you, and you guys just seemed awesome. biggrin.gif

Um, I love you all wub.gif

I first joined WG when we dominated P2P as pking is one of my favorite things. I later realized the community here was something I wouldn't find in any other clan so I rejoined again. Although we may not be as strong as we once were, I've adapted and learned to have fun with what we got. The people are great and fun to be around and sometimes make me forget i'm on the computer.

My first real clan...

Joined because it looked like a good clan, and I didn't really know what else to look for in a clan because I was new. But the people quickly grew on me. smile.gif

I'm gonna answer honestly to this one:

The homepage in which you can withdraw the books and open them with the cool animation.

Thats what made me think "ooh cool clan! I'll check it out"

I joined wg when I was like 87 combat. I saw an ad on Sal's and was accepted. WG was my first clan and it is my home.
I can honestly say the people and the place here is the best clan/community I have ever been around in the gaming world.

Here's a rare story that I don't think I've ever posted.

In early 2005, Arnan1991 led an F2P clan called the Brotherhood of Shadow. I met him through a player called Ryder518. He was a kid about 11/12 years old who lived a few doors up the road from me and was a friend of my little brother.

I'd have never discovered runescape had it not been for my brother coming in one night, while I was playing Neopets, and asking to use the computer so he could try out Runescape.

So anyway. I joined this clan called BoS at 35 combat with level 50 magic. All went well but after a few months, Arnan1991 scammed a whip from a member named Biggun(something) and closed the clan.

You'll never guess who else was in this clan. Pyroclastic0!

That's right. We both migrated to DG at more or less the same time. So I guess I found out about WG through a mixture of him, a few of Jesusislord6's videos (he made vids other than the DoA war) and pure luck.

When I learned about Anti-pking and the reasons behind it, I guess you could say I was converted. Ever since, I've upheld my own personal honour code never to kill anybody in the wilderness who wasn't looking for a fight. I've kept this with me even when not in WG.

I joined The Wilderness Guardians because of the morals the clan stood for, which is embodied in the clan's motto, "The Shield of the Innocent." That however was what drew me in, because at the time I was just playing around and hadn't been a member of a formal clan. What kept me here was the irresistible community that the clan creates. We're not just a bunch of people sitting behind computer screens playing a game, instead we're a bunch of friends hanging out together from all over the world. That's why I'm part of this clan.

I view RS as an escape from real life that I play to unwind on week nights and on the week end. In essence, I soloed the game reaching 126+. Unlike many of you, I never did do much pvp stuff or go into the wilderness. I felt it was time to expand my horizons and try some combat and join a clan. It was Joe who suggested that I join WG because of the community and the possibility of combat with the assurance that this was not a warring clan and there was a mix of skilling and combat. Also, I was there when WG had some of its epic events and thought that I would give it a try. A special thanks to all of you for making me welcome and the community that you provide. I am looking forward to the IRL meeting and the people behind the pixels.

I met Zemus while fishing and he was a much higher level but very very poor. (I know hard to believe.) He had dropped all his stuff and didn't have anything. I remember chatting to him and asking him all the nooby questions about RS. He was so very nice with me and after a short time he asked me to check out the skills sector of WG. I was in the 80s levels when we met. My high fishing/cooking and WC/fetching is what let me have the requirements to join.

I soon had many friends here and that is why I stay. Being part of a great community with so many different personalities is amazing. Being able to help friends with decisions and problems and their rs adventure is just as rewarding.

Thank you Garrett and Dallar.

I knew Valdremia as a friend through a previous clan, and I got inquisitive about his clan as he had often said it was taking up allot of his time (Valdy was council when I first joined).

I soon began to look into WG and over a week or therabouts I trained up from ~85 to 95 combat (as the req's were somewhere around 95 cmb & 85 mage at the time) and joined. Been here ever since neko2.gif

I was an Anti-Rpker long before I knew there was a word for it. I'd known Powerman24 for about a year before he joined in 2005, and when he told me about WG it sounded like an absolutely perfect fit for me, and it was. The leadership and community were outstanding; everything was about making the game fun and at the same time upholding a definitive code of honor.

The whole deal made you especially proud to be a member of something so much bigger than yourself, to take a stand for what you thought was right in the Wilderness and to have fun doing it. Times change, but the friendships I've made here have lasted for YEARS and show no sign of waning. So thank you WG, it's been a fantastic run!

Well this is a hard one theres so many things.

The people firstly we have so many welcoming but still dedicated to whats best for wg.

Events- Pvp and Non pvp events always help me enjoy coming on here.

The diversity of countries and regions people are from and its always fun to meet someone new.

The site is very well managed.

The possibility of making wg bigger and better than it is now
