Hey guys. First off I'd like to thank everybody that voted for me.
This post will briefly explain what you can expect from me in the next few weeks.
It seems that lately we've been content with ourselves. Not slumping, but not exactly trying hard to ascend, either.
I intend to work on that.

Fighting:
-Less pointless raids. More planned fights. Be them PKRI, mini or full out war.
-Recruitment through positive advertising (win topics.) Showing the clan world that we are a winning, rising clan.
-A planned PVP event every weekend.
-Higher activity in P2P multi. My personal area of expertise.
-After christmas we'll be looking at getting some big fights.
-Our goal is to become top 10.

Skills:
-Re-evaluation of certain events. (Does the time you invest in attending make the XP gained/loot obtained worth it?)
-24 Hour skill comps. More enjoyable than spending a whole week doing one skill to win. Do you agree?

Community:
-Our anniversary should be around about... now. I believe George is fixing this up. Allies, friends and guests are welcome to most of the anniversary events.
-Start using voice communications more frequently outside wars.

Please take the time to read and reply to THIS TOPIC

ok so reading this heres what i have to say.

I agree fully with the pvp fighting and stuff. Win topics get a lot of good responces and people join clans based on them. Lure them here with wins keep them here for the community =)

One thing we need to do is figure out if we are going to stay f2p or go p2p for warring, If your worried about money (happens to be a big deal for new members) then we need to do our warring in f2p.

The skilling part i'm not really a huge fan of. I am just now starting to get my total level up and i'm pretty much doing it on my own so no real views there.

and our community, I agree we need to be more active as a community. Not events just hanging out. I feel we need a active fully updated cc. I personally made a clan chat "wg cc" and its all ranked based on clan ranks. I need to update it after the rank changes if we are going to use it. But no one seems to care to use clan chat. I know people that want to join but want to get to know the people and dont have irc working. If they meet the people we could pull them into the clan.

And a active Team speak help things a lot. People get closer and have more fun while just playing the game on there own.

Damn. I don't really find raids pointless if they're well-thought out and well-planned, but hell I'm not complaining about more wars tongue.gif

QUOTE

Good stuff.

QUOTE

-A planned PVP event every weekend.

Awesome. Sundays are preferred, my Saturdays are quite cramped, but whatever's best for the clan.

Aww jeez, gotta start raking in the cash for gear again neko2.gif

War LND again and I pnsbutt u. jk tongue.gif Yeah I think with the way things are going we might be able to take on Coll or Exer again... or maybe challenge CR, that is if you two are as epic as councils as I make you out to be tongue.gif

In terms of ToG I kind of agree. Depends on the event really.

QUOTE

Might cause a disadvantage to some members but might make things a tad more interesting. Not sure on this one.

Good stuff. VoIP is great when you're skilling or questing, I'd love to see the TS a bit more active during leisure time.

During our last TS meeting we talked about the anniversary waiting til January. Gene will be back then and Jenny said that it had waited before.

I'm not sure how you all feel about it.

I love 24 hour things so much better than week long stuff. It leaves me more open to train combat. That probably sounds funny, but if I get dressed for combat then have to go fletch or WC it will take me longer to get back to combat. It is not a preferred task as it is so I can be easily distracted from it. I would love to have like a range or mage 24 hour thing as those combat skills don't add to my overall lvl so I more ignore them at times. If the other lower levels or skillers are like me it might be something to think about.

I know I'm not into the wars as much but I would love to see 2 mini wars or like the type where people would go 10 vs 10 or something offered twice a week. I know that full out wars are preferred by some but have we ever done a +/- (said limit). I think doing like 1 week prep wars will be helpful too. I'm not sure I get all the stuff about wars/raids and how often but I do listen to the members. The war where we kept lvl 120 plus had its good points too. The better war people got preference and the lower levels will want that so they will train. We need to have f2p and p2p things to cover all members preference. I know that one might get more attention but still we should try to have both imo. That is about all I can say on wars for now.

I'm 17 and I have school so I can't do a 24/7 thing but I could probably do a couple hours tongue.gif

I think a really good idea would be to have all our ally clans and us had a MASSIVE pk trip.

imagine a pk trip with 100+ people! god that would be amazing and we could advertise soo much for the clan.

I don't think that raids are pointless dface-ani.gif
I personally really enjoy a good P2P/F2P raid, although that's not to say that planned wars/pkris aren't fun as well tongue.gif

We need to talk about the anniversary.
I really want to delay it until Gene gets back since it's really not an anniversary without Genefase neko2.gif
We'll discuss.

Raids can be pointless at certain times where absolutly nobody is out and no action what so ever.

I support and agree with most everything, except the goal of top 10. I can honestly say we will never be a 6 hour pkri clan. Its just not us. However, there is strong hope and support for everything else.
My favorite thing is the weekly organized and purposeful PVP event.
The better a community we have, the more effort our clan will give.

Good luck, Steve. I love you and give you my full support and trust.

I dont think he means you have to be on for 24 hours to do the event, just give the time you have to dedicate to the chosen skill of you enter.

And personally i think we need less Allied raids, yes we get bigger pulls, and yes its more fun but we need to show the clan community we can stand on our own 2 feet.

In regards to skills events, i think they should be left the way they are.

Events dont have to be profitable, worth the xp or produce. They can be fun. After all RS is a game, games are meant to be fun.

Hosting trawler on wednesday, you get like 18 fish at 99 fishing. Not worth the time really,
but its fun to do with your friends.

Just a little bit of squelchy opinion.

If you have Ardougne diary started you get Easy, Medium and possibly a Hard task just by attending your event. Keep that in mind and the rewards are good for it.
