WG LC

If I missed anyone on attendance, please post below.

Our TS Meeting started with a brief talk about some of our more recent wars/raids. It was a rather quiet meeting tonight. Lee came in time to let us all know that 3/4 of WG cannot tank. Something I think we will be working on.

PVP

At todays pkri we lost and some of our observations to help us improve are as follows:

1. We need to be able to Bind and Switch our gear faster. When we bind and hear that the Pile is coming our way PUT ON OUR RUNE.

2. Practice Melee and binding at the same time.

3. We needed more people maging.

4. We have to learn to be better tanks.

At the TNG Match war that turned into a PKRI. There was some discussion on whether they cheated or not. It was decided that they did. They had returned in gear. They also had killed Jess in the beginning and attacked members of WG before the war even started. NH

1. We need to watch our boundaries better. Some believed that we got to far away the place we were to be warring at.

2. At the PKRI after, at first people returned fast then stopped returning. It was also noted that some people need to restock their gear. Staff will be doing some gear checks, so go restock your stuff now.

Today's Aussie Raid was great from what I heard in the meeting. Jordan/FBI did some leading til Lee came on. They all said they had an awesome time.

We briefly talked about some of the Raid Leader Applicants. Time Zones were mentioned. We have at least 8 Dutch People in WG now. Yeah for the Dutch Unit. It is still believed that Est has the most members.

Keanu mentioned that he would like to see more deep wild pk trips. It was mentioned that this increases our chances of running into bigger clans too. That not being so good.

Randy let us know that week day raids will be spontaneous sometimes if a large amount of people are on. Even if it is only an hour long event. He notes that bedtimes during the week can make it rough during school time.

Team Speak

We have 10 people that are using TS everyday now. We would love to see this grow. If you can make TS a habbit while you play RS, you will get to know your clan mates better. Be able to help each other easier with questions or quests on RS too.

Kareoke Night will be coming up, so get started on picking your songs. Come on TS and try out those beautiful singing voices.

Fansites and Recruiting

We currently have few people (only Joe) posting on Tip-It. Please make an effort to post on there more. We can easily get people to join WG if we appear friendly and inviting to them.

Watch the recruiting topics on the fansites and pm people and even offer to add them in the game. His Lordship has given some great advice for this.

In Game Recruiting

Our in game recruiting could improve a huge amount, if we have an active clan chat in the game to invite them into. There is a new CC set up for us to use called WG CC.

Anniversary

This will be coming up. I believe we are going to wait for His Lordship to return from vacation.

We discussed how having a big drop party at this can be helpful to our recruitment too.

Event Suggestions

The suggested 24 hour events or competition were discussed. It was suggested that maybe two or three hour events would work better for some of the members that have jobs. Even on week nights like from 6 to 9 pm.

Thanks for coming and all your input. Sorry my TS was acting up tonight.

Whilst moneymaking events are good in theory, in reality they suck.

WG does not have the manpower to merch, nor will everyone have the same skills to participate in fishing sharks, cutting magics, or slaying abyssals.

The only communal thing we could do would probably be to pick flax etc, which i am sure everyone has their own way of making money that brings home more gp per hour than that.

Edit: In saying that though, prehaps if it is properly thourght out - the blast furnace minigame could both be fun and profitable.

I understand what you're saying about the skilling to make gp, but a lot of our members like to use something called 76k to make gp. I personally don't do this method, but they claim it is not breaking RS rules.

Check maybe in IRC for someone to explain this better to you.

i beg to differ about merching

i've actually have been in the search of the 100% system. its an ideal system of nonfail merch that employs the fundamental method of trading (demand/suppy) one problem is that i can only reach to 75% due to several factors.

1. time
2. geupdate
3. limit
4. changes in market demand
5. all items traded must be f2p (universal factor)
wg can certainly merch although the views on how to merch may differ. i personally like the ideal of individual merchanting because it requires the use of a group that shares insights.

even at 75% reliability and 44% volatility i managed to make 100m in 3 months and 200m the following month and now on my 5th month i'm looking forward to 300m-400m gp.

Since some of us skill a lot is it possible to set up some kind of a system for helping those in need of skilled item, i.e. prayer pots or other potions in exchange for say ingredients. Because I do not think making money is that easy for everyone and you just watch that gp. RS does not allow bankruptcy.
