I thought it was an interesting read. It would help improve our warring. Its more suited to pkri's. I've edited it a bit to suit this clan more. Brief help picking out gear If you feel your energy is running out too fast, you might not want to bring extra armour. It is up to each one of you to be able to decide for yourself if losing the rune plate is worth the extra energy. If you have anchovy pizzas and you keep getting ko'd, it means you need to be on swordies where you heal more in 1 click. If you always die with no food an prayer left, it means you need to change whatever you are using and bring more anchovy pizzas. It is ultimately up to each individual sniper as to what gear to wear + bring. A good idea is to always have two styles of combat such as range/melee or mage/melee (if allowed). You should not be asking raid leaders what to wear if you're sniping. You all know what you can wear and its up to your judgement to pick up the most efficient suit for yourself. Just because someone else's gear works for them, it doesn't mean it will work for you just as well. Responsibilities of a sniper - If you see an enemy fall in, attack the fall in leader Reason: Fall in leader has to eat constantly and pray if sufficient snipers attack him at once, or it SEEMS that a lot of snipers are on him draining his morale and his choice to lead the next time he returns. This makes it a psychological warfare along with a rs one. - If you don't see the fall in leader, attack a binder and if you don't see anything or while you are searching, attack SOMEONE Worse thing that a person who can't find his pile is a person who idles like a kid with his mouth open drooling not being able to pick which candy to eat. Idling is bad. While you are just standing still while repeatedly clicking their pile to find the one who was called, someone else is dying for you so you don't. Be at least somewhat useful and attack someone. When you see the person you are supposed to attack, switch. Also if you feel an official is going to go anal one you, switch. - First priority while attacking a binder is to attack him not kill him Attack a binder and any amateur will put his rune on. If so, go switch to another. If a binder puts his rune on then he is no longer a binder anymore. Exception is if the binder thinks he's an e-thug and decides to keep his robes on and pray while he keeps binding. Hitting through robes even with prayer is as easy as cutting butter with a butter knife. If the person puts his rune back on but there is more people other than yourself attacking him, then your priority is to kill the binder because there is actually hope of ko'ing him. - You are expect to have some level of intelligence for memory usage If you pile the same binders over and over again, chances are that the next time they return, they will be binding again. You are expected to remember the names of these SOBS and wish that they took out the nature rune from their banks once again. - You aren't supposed to be a meat shield so don't be one Snipers aren't really supposed to be scapegoats so they pile you instead of the main pile. Your mission is to attack and kill the enemy. If you want to tank repeatedly so you can drag them, you are not being part of a sniper team, you are in your own tank unit. If you are piled then you try at the best of your abilities to tank and after death return and continue attacking people. - Try to camouflage with the enemy Be a ninja, try to camouflage with the enemy. If the minimap is clear except for the enemy's fall in and you are snipe ranging, stop ranging until the minimap becomes a clusterfuck and they can't distinguish you from the rest of the parasitic scapers in the wild. You should have a scimmy so you can be in their fall in and still inflict damage if you have to. You are a ninja. Ninja's shouldn't get caught and well if they do....they are bad ninjas. - Conclusion Other clans should view you as a pain in the ass. They should be screaming on their ts in frustration yelling at their own clan mates for not dealing with the snipers who are raping them. They will learn to hate you. You will probably die more than if you were in the main pile.
