      IRC Nickname: DG_Keanu Group: Council Posts: 4782 Member No.: 2033 Joined: August 25, 2009 Total Events Attended: 173    |  I went soloing again tonight and for the most of it I ran into solo level 126s in welfare gear or lurers. When I came back on a bit later the 2 guys duoing above attacked me, but they were a fair few levels lower than me so I stayed and fought 2 on 1. I focused on one and got his kill above, then a bunch of level 120s with range came and attacked me and the other guy so we just ran. I pro tanked it to the farm on what little food I had left and logged  I was completley shocked when the first one died to me in the pic and said gf and all... for his level I was expecting him to run as soon as he was low on food. It's really nice to see more people who go out in full gear and show some honour when they pick a fair fight, especially at <100 combat which is really something. I guess the wilderness isn't full of pixel-hungry welfarers after all And I do hope the other guy managed to escape as well, he deserves it to be fair.I've had a couple good kills in F2P before but this is the first I deem a kill from a worthy opponent  --------------------  [05:42] <+WG_Keanu> I think I got a semi just looking at the pic [05:42] <%kat> same | ||||

The fact that I killed someone who actually showed a bit of respect as an opponent, especially at his level which amplifies that. A <100 who is probably poorer than I am goes out duoing in full f2p gear in deep, picks a fight and fights to the death. How often do you see that these days? What a waste of a post. What is your problem with Keanu? He got a kill, and there was a story behind it that concerned something that is very scarce these days. If you're going to just troll or insult him, or just degrade his achievement, regardless of it's magnitude to you, then just leave the topic alone. If however you're really desperate for post count, then just give a simple congratulations, don't worry, just because you post it doesn't mean it's heartfelt. OT: Congratulations on your kill Keanu. Might not have been the greatest loot possible, but the story is interesting. You're right that in the new wilderness not to many people stay and fight, be it in low level or high leveled wilderness, so finding someone who was with a friend at that, that stayed and fought is pretty interesting. --------------------  | ||||
