We briefly talked about the disappointment when staff doesn't come to events. They really would like to see staff at more things. Friday's raid was really fun for the members and they ended up meeting up with multiple clans. Skill of the Week was brought up and they would like it to be voted on for now but not start til after the big war. Recruitment was discussed and how some people don't like all the dl of programs and the forum and stuff. The idea was that maybe we should try to get some ex-members to rejoin. Sometimes if we get them in irc and chatting they end up coming back to WG. We briefly talked about our guardian scores and how it might not be as effective as we had hoped. The wildguard test was brought up and maybe should be thought about bringing it back. We discussed how recaps are not being made for events and the attendance is greatly inaccurate from this. Members need to take screenies too, just in case it is needed. Sometimes staff misses it. Vephyrus is great attendance taker and updater of attendance. Sonixpber is thinking of starting up the penguin events again. He will be reviewing how to find them. Thanks to everyone that attended. If anyone has something they would like to add please post it. Definitely agree with that Sgt. Penguins isn't very fun on your own or with one of the standard CC's (w60penguins for example) however I always enjoy it allot when I do it with a clan or some mates..... you co-operate & go to area's of runescape that you might visit fairly rarely otherwise. Unfortunately, thats not the plan. Penguins + Circus takes about 1 hour with CCs, so without using a specific CC the event is going to take far too long to hold people's interest, including mine. I'm doing this as a way we can all gain some fairly good XP in as little time as possible, while still being together on mumble. --------------------   | ||||||

| IRC Nickname: Sgtswordfish Group: Guest Posts: 1737 Member No.: 1758 Joined: March 9, 2009 Total Events Attended: 64 | do it how its always been, the guy leading goes in 15 minutes and writes down the possible locations, also the penguins update @ random so just remember the locations they respawn @. also don't do it on the day the penguins come out but rather a day after once you have an idea of the most possible location they will be. post a list of required and possible equipment for teleporting and running. teams go about 15-20 minutes but i must warn you. penguins don't hold that much popularity because of the fact that most people don't work well with small gains so you might also want to establish a team that helps people go thru quest that help enhance penguin pts. -------------------- Goals 2011 | ||||||
