Yeah, we lost today. But did we really lose? If you consider showing the ENTIRE clan world that we aren't a joke, that we CAN pull big numbers, that we ARE willing to risk alot of money, and that we can take on ANY challenge, even when are victory may be in doubt; then yes, we lost.

But in my opinion, we didn't lose a damn thing but a few pixels. We proved that we ARE all of the things that we said above. We can only grow from here. Quite honestly, I don't feel bad at all that we lost. Why? because I believe that this is just the first step into something much more.

If you think that WG is dead now that we lost, gtfo. If you're not willing to commit yourself 100% to this clan, gtfo. If you're not willing to give some of your pixels and time to the clan, gtfo. We have to be serious now. We have proved that we have the potential to be great, now all we have to do is follow through.

We CAN do this guys, there is not a doubt in my mind. This loss may have set us back a tad, but there is no way that it can keep us down. Keep up the same enthusiasm as we had before this war, keep up the activity, and keep up the determination, and it will show results.

WG is now like a sapling in a forest, under a canopy of shade created by the larger trees. We have to grow up to the sunlight, so that we can grow big as well. But to do that, we must put in some hard work...VERY hard work. But is it possible? Yes.

I'm more proud now than ever to be in WG, and there is no time I'd rather be in WG. We can achieve greatness, we have already achieved this in our minds, we have already won half the battle, now it is time to follow through and grasp our glory that is rightfully ours.

We are ready, we are proud, we are determined...

We...

Are...

THE FUCKING WILDERNESS GUARDIANS.

This is our time. LETS DO THIS SHIT LADS AND LASSES, THE TIME IS OURS, AND WE WILL HAVE IT.

Regardless win or lose, in my opinion we did well, take this to the next war and destroy whoever it is.

Was a damn fun fight. They only won because they had more people on the field. I felt like we had a damn good start, and it continued until our numbers could just not hold up.

They had a strong 40-50 opts more than us, and we give them some hits, they ended on like 110 opts.

HOOORAAAH

But seriously, we've earned alot of respect by risking so much and fighting a much more powerful clan than us, knowing that all odds were against us. BUT, it will mean absolutely nothing if we don't take this loss, and realize that if we can put up a fight against TBC, pull those numbers, and stay confident. If we do this clans that are similar strength in members to ours have no chance.

Remember that DW pulled out. They knew they would lose. We would have almost doubled their predicted opts, and they have a similar memberlist to us. The more we give to the clan, the more members we will get, and the more powerful we will become.

So don't take this as a loss, and don't think about the measly pixels you've lost; we've got what I believe is to be the best community, and if every member devotes some extra time, energy, and pixels into the clan, we will become who the Wilderness Guardians were in the past, a massively strong, dedicated, and shining clan in P2P Wilderness.

Two years ago, I remember a similar battle to this one, versus Ronin. We were pumped, pulled 33 people, but then found that they had 44. We lost that battle, but two weeks later, we had an incredible comeback, nearly beating BK and becoming a serious contender in a huge clan tournament. This was when we pulled around 70 people to a single fight!

This isn't the end, WG is probably the only clan that gets back up after every defeat and comes back stronger. Let's do this!

This war definetly was more of a success than a failure. Our pull was amazing, but we need to perservere and that's going to be the hardest of course. We musn't forget that the previous day we pulled 24 and got destroyed by a clan with many less people on paper.

The war was a great leap forward compared to the past few weeks, but as in all big leaps, tripping on reception would ruin the effort. Now each and every one of us has to furnish strength to the base of this clan, by coming, giving, dedicating to our clan.
But now is also our leadership's big test - to maintain the balance, to keep our heads level and gazing afar as well as close by. We need a clear line of thought, a creed.

We have the rough outlines of a reborn clan with tons of potential. Now let's not fuck it up. Let's keep strong and not shy away from an ambitious objective. Don't let yourselves held by the hand of the leadership, invest without them asking to specifically, BE WG, for each of us composes it. WG is hollow, empty of all meaning without each of us and without the time we give to it.

45 people to a war makes 45 guardians sharing a moment. If twenty show up the next day, WG is only half alive, and perhaps having much less than half the fun.
