Okay, this is why we lost:

When we need to bind no1 should range. You get sniped instantly if every1 ranges, if every1's spreaded...

To be honest, on a fixed war zone battle which this was, ranging is actually more important. Why you ask? What's the first thing you do when being piled, you slap on pro melee.

In the main was that we got caught hot off the foot as they rushed us. We performed quite well, I personally sucked due to not being able to click anything.

A good balance of mage / range is the optimum way forward however all in all this is difficult for us to establish given that we are a mixed clan across p2p and f2p (which many clans are not).

The encouraging aspect however was the pull, 36 members would have been enough to take most teams / clans.

However remember practise does not make perfect it makes consistency.

Things to improve on:
-We had about 4-5 rangers. Not enough for a 30v30
-Organization was sloppy. People were spread all over the minimap, and we rarely had a really strong solid pile.
-Fallins are taking WAY too long. 10 seconds is not good enough. People fall in should be spamming "WG IN" or whatever, leaders should be spamming @@@@@@@@@@ or something to indicate their location.
-It was taking a bit too long to call piles
-Tanking could have been better

It would've helped if some of the rangers were assigned to antisnipe. Snipers were plowing through us hybrids.

I must say those of us who were dropped i know for a fact i had binds on me were the ones with binds. However i defiantly think we need to sort out whose doing what.
we need half binding half ranging. no buts. cos otherwise were not going anywhere.

This happens because nobody else is binding.

Their mentality (as well as ours):
- Kill hybrids.

If you're the only one in robes, going along with mentality, you're 100% going to get hit. If both of us start binding, we've each got a 50% chance of getting hit. If four of us start binding, we've each got a 25% chance.

I don't think people look at it this way, always a "I put my robes on and I got decked," which isn't your fault because you were trying. It's people that think like this, and use IT as an excuse to NOT bind next time.

Think about this, if you bring bind runes and robes to bind in, each time a pile comes our way and you take your robes off, you didn't only just save yourself, you helped fuck over the other three guys binding.

Going along with the theory that if they see someone in robes, they'll pile them. If we've got 4 people binding, each with 25% chance of getting hit because they're in robes, when one of them pussies out the other three go from a 25% chance to a 33% of getting piled.

It's in our best interest when we war for as many people to be in robes because that just decreases the chance that each person will get hit.

Then we get to tanking...

We didn't have too much of a hinderance in terms of our members' ability. Our main piles were really tight, we had a good amount of snipers doing their job, great spamming, and a moderate amount of binds.

Unfortunately once you start dropping below their numbers in F2P, you RARELY manage to pull it back. Unless you get some super epic tank on your side and then drop 3 kids on theirs while they're running around like headless chickens.

We didn't do too bad. So we lost. Fair do's, let's learn from mistakes and get pumped for the next war.
