High at work?

Right so some of you may or may not know that i am a plumber.

The current job i am working atm is in a university in london, working on a plantroom (Not plants, but heating/colling systems etc) Anyways there is a type of pipework called ABS, which is plastic and withstands very high pressures.

To connect 2 peices of pipe, you use couplings/bends/tees etc. And you use a jointing compound. The compound is an extremely strong solvent cement. Which melts both peices of plastic and then dries quickly, cementing them together, no way of getting apart.

Ok so the lessons over.

Back to the solvent cement. I was trapped in a small room, with no ventilation, for 4 hours, with this solvent. After 3 hours of it was high as a kite. And as i was working with my old man on this job, i was pretty bored. So i started to use scape sayings to him, fuck knows why.

The usual, GG, Derp, GF, and all of them he turned a blind eye to.

Until he told me to go empty a bucket, i tried the 'NO U'. So after saying that he picked the bucket up full of water, and poured it all over my head.

I looked a drip.

Was cold and wet

And was pissed off.

Dont get high at work, and dont try amusing yourself.

It fails.

I get high before I go to work whenever I have to run the self checkouts(grocery store) because of all the idiots I have to deal with while there. Fucking old black women, stupid ass Californian people, and idiots who won't accept that we only sell 32 beer.

I just don't make it blatantly obvious....eye drops, and a calm demeanor. Thats all ya need. And the ability to just ask for my boss whenever its something I don't feel like dealing with.

I work at DD and I've thought about going in high, but I couldn't pull it off. Plus, my uncle is the manager and my aunt works there. Usually we don't work together but if we do, I wouldn't want them knowing haha.

Its not glue its solvent cement, it actually melts the plastic, bonds together, and dries withing the space of 30 seconds. The strongest of its kind lol.

I didn't purposely get high, it just comes with the job, dont have much choice unless i wanna get another job, which i dont lols.

Bit of a mouthfull. Gotta say the shit is a bastard to get off ya hands aswell lol.
