Welcome to Joe, Bam and Squelchy.

Congratulations on being chosen as our new Mentors of WG.

This is from lvl 4:

QUOTE
Why only three you ask?  Well we have only had like 7 trials at a time lately.  I feel each mentor should be able to handle 2 or 3 trials.  I talk to all the trials pretty often and will continue to do that.  If we would get beyond 3 trials each person, then I think staff can pick up the difference.  If we get like sooooooooo many that it is not enough then we can go to 4 mentors.  Having less means better control of what is going on.  To many people *hello, I'm your mentor* then next time the trial hears from them it is on the app * Yah he is a good guy*.

Mentors Duties:  Help the trials through to graduation and a bit beyond.  It is not just about graduation.  They need the family and friends community to get them to stay and be truly dedicated.  A little help in trying new things, teaching them about warring, feeling comfortable on Audio, Checking that they have the right gear at raids/wars, and in general just being helpful when needed.  I think about 2 months it takes for people to really be a part of the community.  Getting the newer members involved with the older members is the best thing.  Letting them be the ones to help others after they are comfortable with the clan.

An example of this:  I was in RS and Emohunter pm's to me about wanting to 76k with me.  I could of left what I was doing and done it with him.  But instead, I got him to go in his lordship cc and invited Garrett in to the channel too.  They hit it off and went to do their thing.  Now Bryce has another friend in WG.  See how that works?

This is sorta a guideline on what we would like with mentoring. We will still use some of the current system, but I am very hopeful that we can lead the way to a better with the new members.

I'll be here to help with any questions or problems.

Rachy

Thank you Garrett and Dallar.

Council will let you know who you have. No the mentoring is done by the three of you and staff. I will still work close with the trial guardians too.

We have Gene, four council, Event Leaders, Raid leaders and you to do mentoring. Really if each of us had 2 mentors we would be like omg omg the applicants. I'm not sure if we have ever had 30+ trial guardians while I have been in WG, but we could handle it.
