What would it be?
What would you change to make WG better/more enjoyable.

WG could do without the DRAMA.

Drama in WG is an ongoing problem, not only causing us to lose old members, but also new ones.
People join this clan to have fun, not to fight with people they've known for 3 days.
Those of us who have been with WG for a decent amount of time can deal with this drama (well some of us anyway), but do you really expect trials to?
Think of all the members we could have if we didn't revolve around drama?
We could be a top 10 clan.

If you all got off of your periods, things would be A LOT better.

One thing?
I dont know what i want changed more.

The forums are not updated, everything is out of date.
Hislordship is often absent, (but to no fault of his own).
People have forgotten WG.
It is full of pathetic drama.
The forums are festering with trolls and spam. "wat?"
No goddamn person turns up to events, not even important ones.
Our requirements are shit, our levels are low.
Our leaders seem to be dissconnected with us.
Everyone is ragequitting, and we have lost good members recently.
Elite guardian is being handed out here there and everywhere.
We have two allies who we dont even speak to.
We have never won a war in like 3 months and we are the joke of the clan world.
WG rules are neglected, many people auto and break jagex rules also. (WG rule #1, obay all rs rules).
We pkay brawlers in the wilderness and no one gives a fuck.
people are wearing shit gear to p2p pks, if they turn up at all.

And so so so much more. And i haven't said the above for "teh lulz", i can write a good essay about each one if you want me to.

So the one thing i would wish most for wg, is to Return to the way WG once was

A fun enjoyable clan with a great community, where people went to events because THATS WHAT THEY JOINED A GODDAMN CLAN TO DO. One where the leaders listen and keep every member updated on every little issue people have braught up.

We need to be strict. This is nothing new, all you need to do is go on the WG homepage and click rules. Or go to the trial guardian HQ and look at the similar list there:

You skip a mandatory event for no legitimate reason, you get 20% warn. No excuse.

You troll flame or spam. 20% warn.

Etc.

Just for a little while perhaps, to kick everyone back into shape.

Stop beating around the bush for one. None of this "forum warning for skipping" shit. If you skip a mandatory PK, you should expect to be kicked.

I remember that drama shit made alot of new people in our summer rise leave, we had a good 79 ML and a nice amount active, things were going good again, then drama kicks in, people go inactive because they don't need the shit and we are left with the few loyals again

Bring the skill sector back.
Applications to graduate through ranks.
--> CLEAR requirements for them.

And I've wanted the fighting part of the clan separated into two groups for like... the past three years. First 100-114 and the second group 115+ for two reasons: 1) It would let us concentrate on BIG events for everyone, but with more intense events reserved for higher-level players; and 2) It'd give a much needed sense of progression within the clan that's within the hands of the members themselves.

There's too much arbitrary dependence on the council I think, especially in terms of promotions.

Everybody wants rid of the drama. Best way to do that is look in the mirror, and make sure you aint part of the drama, every person has to do this, those dont do it, dont want to be here.

Better pulls, we NEED better pulls to raids. I dont care about other pointless events, just wars and raids.

Twice the amount of Raids. All though I do think that getting rid of Drama is a #1 priority.

One thing is hard, but two things tongue.gif,

I wish people would stop with the spam on the forums, or at least have it moderated with some kind of consequences. A prospective member would look at all this spam from the higher ranks and feel like WG isn't mature and structured.

Second, I wish leaders were held up to the responsibilities that a highly active member is. I'm speaking mostly to the council. Some admit it, while others don't, but the only ones that are really as active as MY expectation of a leader are Darth and Rachel, no offense to the others at all.

Don't take this as a flame bait of course.

1 would be awesome...but it's not really possible in here...just take a look at people's sig...every 2nd member has got his sig dedicated to a staff member...and it's not a "thanks for doing this for us man"-sig but more like "omg iyou are my hero and i want your babies!!"

To address some of the issues here:

1. I have a list of things for the forum to update and will be working on that during my recovery time.

2. I am going to start deleting the needless spam and taking away your post count.

3. IRC needs to be a little more friendly and less homo. I think most of you know the difference between "I pns butt Darth" to the 30 lines of pns butt and cum stuff. Putting it very straight to you. It is a bunch of crap. There can be fun but sometimes it just gets annoying to people.

Also the racist remarks need to stop. I'm tired of seeing stuff about hating each others countries, religions or whatever else. This can get you warn levels. I know some jokes come out but unfortunately not everyone can tell the difference. About a week ago someone was joking about Canada and very much offended one of our members.

4. If I see an issue going bad between members, I will have you join a channel with me and let you voice your sides and help you see the real issues and some solutions to it. It doesn't have to end in "I'm leaving."

Now my own personal desire for WG would be to have more war trainings and be more prepared for wars, so we can win. The practice is not just for our members but should help with the leaders calls and stuff.

Thank you Garrett and Dallar.

is the day you have stopped leading them.
They have either lost confidence that you can help them
or concluded that you do not care.
Either case is a failure of leadership.”

Now I'm hypocritical for saying this, but more maturity. I'll try to make myself less stupid on IRC and forums in what I do.

There's a line we need to draw about what's acceptable, and it needs to start somewhere.
