So, we all know about the experience weekend, and the current havoc it's playing with the economy. I strongly suspect everyone has their goals that they've made, and started working towards. I know I have some fairly lofty goals, of which about half of it's going to be achieved.

But, towards that note, I don't think we should have MANDATORY events that weekend. Sure, fun events, show up if you want events, but nothing that we should have to go to. Imagine, logging on, and during the best EXP times, you have to PK.

Please- no mandatory events during the exp weekend. Discuss?

I had very similar thoughts on this as well. I have to think that a lot of the clan will use this time very wisely and those beginning hours will make a huge difference.

Thank you Garrett and Dallar.

is the day you have stopped leading them.
They have either lost confidence that you can help them
or concluded that you do not care.
Either case is a failure of leadership.”

Agreed. We should use that weekend to train our accounts wisely.

I know that Gene has stated there will be no Anniversary events on that weekend, and like you I hope that this also includes any other mandatory events be they raids, wars or other events.

I know my goals for the extra Xp time are probably going to take allot of work to get to, but I'm hopeful smile.gif

I agree.

We're already trying to get people to train, why take them away from their training when we're being given a 2.7X boost to our gains.

Let people do what they want for the first 10 hours at a very least, then from there let the events roll in, but we don't want to take away the biggest chunk of bonus XP.

We've agreed to leave that weekend open yes, and as JC has said Gene and I have scheduled the anniversary wisely so that it does not coincide with the 2.7x exp weekend.
