3. Council Revitalisation
This was never announced formally but now it is. Council are now tertiary leaders AS WELL AS council members. Meaning council members have to be either event leaders (George and Rach) or raid leaders (myself, Kyle and Steve). This keeps them more in touch with WG and more active. I will be enforcing this very strictly.

As i recall when i was staff, we had to make weekly events. And good on Gene for hosting the aussie raid, I'm really proud to call myself a Wilderness Guardian when I see our leader of 6 years still keeping up his activity through organising the whole anniversary enough to host a weekly raid. Good on you, hopefully you keep this up, and im sure you are not the only person who enjoys the Aussie Raid with you at the front.

Also rachel has been doing good in her new role, i have seen many events hosted by her before this update anyway, but keep up the good work rachel.

And Darth, you are really active on forums, runescape, events, pretty much everything. You are a really big assest to the clan as a council member, and you are doing great, even organising a PKRI for this weekend (today). Keep it up and dont be afraid to have a go at leading, im sure you will be good.

However.

Stokenut - Last Raid/War hosted according to Event Recaps Forum was the Tip.It 20vs20 vs CSF on the 11th of Feb, nearly one month ago. Honestly, this is our warlord, who plays WoW more than Runescape. You have to choose stoke, warlord or warcraft.

George - Now im not going to pull a Leecable and demand you step down, this is just some suggestions, and I know you have been busy IRL, with getting your license and other stuff, but this is where a great council member steps up compared to a good council member. Take gene for example. He would put the clan above everything, even his personal image (im talking about the New York Square ad) and hell, he even was leading huge wars while on his holiday break. You also need to choose George, be the best council member you can be, or enjoy RL more, but remember, you cant make WG second best as council.

And to the rest of the members, do not post "YEA STEP DOWN LULZ", not even as a joke, just keep this post constructive and flame free, for once.

well, it all goes to the council so the best thing to do is be patient and see how it goes.

There is nothing more encouraging than seeing your leaders with you while you are doing anything; whether it is posting on forums, speaking on IRC, doing an event, or just casually 'scaping.

Leaders always have to stay in touch with their people. It really helps keep the community together, and it helps both parties stay motivated. You can see this especially with the last couple of council members and warlords; when they lose touch with the community, they wither away.

I personally believe that staff members should be constantly reelected. Too many times have we seen great staff members fade away, only to drag the rest down with them. By constantly having reelections, one's position is never fully secure; the clan anonymously votes based on the performance of the given candidate.

Yea, i have mentioned this a few times.

As you said, this keeps people working hard to keep their spot, there isnt really a downside.

The clan gets who they want leading it constantly, and the people leading it work hard to make WG better.

This could be another thing that WG has that seperates us from the rest of the clan world (unless some other clan also does this?)

Also as you sorta mentioned bto, when we have really active leaders, who give the role 110%, you can clearly see the difference on where we are ranked as a clan.

Also as Nick said, the moral boost in having active leaders with you, is just really good for the clan, especially when we dont win a war in 3 months
