Attendance was good but not great - I'm happy but not thrilled. In the future, if you're signed up as yes, GO! We'll be cross-checking the attendance to the yes sign-ups. When I say we I mean Darth (Thanks). In any case, every event was sensational. The whole day lasted about 2 hours and 45 minutes - As planned. A great start to the festivities. All attendance is doubled. If you went to all four events, you get 8 attendance points. If you are not in the CC, you miss out, as I said many times to join in-game and in IRC. THE VETERAN WAR Attendance  We began massing in the spot where WG met for the first time in-game. Fally west (in RS Classic) used to face the moat, and we stood outside the doors half way between the bank and the moat in full steel armour, forged by Docster the clan smith, who couldn't get to mithril yet. As Doscter improved, so did our armour. Non veterans stood beside the veterans.  Then the veterans went to the monastery. Some members on our first raid had no fishing level or gear to catch the trout that swam beside Edgeville. Lobsters were too expensive at 200gp each. We decided to instead pick the cabbages for food, back when they didn't have to respawn. The non-veterans waited at BH for us.  I lost my pictures of the bandit camp war, so I'll use one from JC. The veterans lined up at the bandit camp, as is tradition. This is the place where the clan died to two rune PKers in 2003 on their first raid. We were ranged from level 30 to level 55, and they had level 60's. We were no match for the 3 hit system. We were all Lumbridge pals in moments. The defeat of the veterans by the non-veterans is a marker for the clan's progress - though this year we were worried the veterans would actually win, judging by the Level 1 poll.  Massing in Draynor Bank, we invited our allies for the next event. THE DROP PARTY Attendance was forgotten. The attendance will be copied from the firefest. Walking up to the party room from Draynor is no ordinary undertaking for WG. We produced a stunning conga line, unbroken. The costumes were super effective.  When were switched to the party world, there was already a drop party of crap going on, so we waited for the chest to clear before depositing our own items. I suggested we desposit 500k each. We ended up exceeding that on the whole, meaning great karma.   The room was so crowded we could not see everyone, and I couldn't see the balloons falling most of the time because of the lag. We were spamming hard to get our names out, and one or two naughty members were popping balloons. Hopefully they were identified on a video. Good rep from that event.  In any case, we were in a hurry to get on with our next event. THE FIREFEST Attendance  Can you believe WG invented this event in Runescape classic? We lost many of our Runescape classic photos, In fact we only have one. But this Runescape-famous event was celebrated today in blazing style.    And with two rounds done, there was only one event left to do... of course. THE MEGARAID OF DEATH Attendance  P2P has always been our traditional strength, so that's where we went. I wanted to take advantage of our pull to this day by finishing with a raid. The raid is the cornerstone event in WG, and so no anniversary is complete without honouring the foundation of all WG events; remember that raid leaders are event leaders who specialise in one type of event because it is so important. I GOT A KILL!  Here's Falador, a place I love to frequent on the Aussie raid. Many members had never raided under my command before so it was particularly special. Hopefully I did the clan proud and showed I still have some skill in the wilderness after all this time getting more and more out of touch with Runescape.  And this is the last fight with Welfarers. We could have won if we re-massed and brought five or six more people along, but they charged, and usually the charging clan has the upper hand. In any case we held out great and got a few kills off them before I realised they were slowly overpowering us. After the retreat, we ended before there was any carnage on our end.  A fantastic Day One guys, please post video footage here. I'm hoping Keanu can compile something for the records, so posting your footage here will be most helpful. Also, post your photos.
