      IRC Nickname: Wayne|Eregion2 Group: Emeritus Posts: 3087 Member No.: 156 Joined: January 25, 2008 Total Events Attended: 8    | I was trying AVG9.0 on my laptop and it let in some weird .exe downloads without asking me about it. So now whenever I connect to the internet something happens and the whole computer shuts down and restarts (after a 30 second count-down, which makes me think whatever I caught attacks the lsass.exe or something similar to force a shutdown). This sounds similar to the Sasser worm but the Symantec FixTool for it didn't find anything, and neither did AVG9.0 scans or Avast! scans. Also, system restore is defunct either because of this or something else I don't know. Wtf do I do to get rid of this damn thing?  --------------------  | ||
