Please take the time to read this and even if you don't reconsider your decision, maybe both sides may come out with something positive gained. WG and our staff are always looking for ways to improve the clan and community. If you're leaving because of a fault or a flaw or something you dislike in WG, please let us know what it is! This way, we can try and mend it and avoid further damage to the clan, and it may possibly even allow you to return or reconsider your decision if the mend is to your standards. Although, please be considerate of the workload that the ranks may have - not everything can be perfected instantly! If you have a reason for leaving that may be resolved but you don't want to share with the entire clan, then you can relay it to the leadership or the council, or anyone you feel comfortable discussing the issue with. Even I personally am always open to discussion and can relay it back to the ranks if need be. If you feel talking to someone hasn't worked or been up to the standard, don't give up there - there will always be people who are willing to listen. Many people go through bad periods when saying goodbye seems to be the only option - I have been though many myself. Try and remember that WG's community is made up of people who are not just clanmates - they are friends; people who are willing to fight by your side until death or victory - and not just literally in RuneScape. Think about the things that WG has done for you and can do in the future, and know that we will always try our best to help do what it takes so that you can enjoy and make the most of it as well. If you decide to go ahead and post, please remember to be mature as well as respectful and considerate of others. When you finalise your decision, you will be taken off the RuneHead memberlist as soon as possible. You have the choice of becoming a guest/clan friend or an ex-member. If you are a staff member, 2 weeks notice is required so that WG can prepare for your departure. Staff may also request the rank of Emeritus if they are retired from the game but wish to stay active in the WG community. Hopefully no one has to leave WG on a bad note. But everyone's time in a clan comes and goes, and in the end we will understand if you wish to move on in the clan world, or leave it altogether. My longest post 1- So far 2- in WG I have written a lot longer before  I'm an ex-leader myself and I the catalyst for me closing my own clan for the first time was one leaving post. The goodbyes forum is one of the most important forums that a community clan has, and I just thought that something needed to be said to appeal to members on their way out rather than just leaving them on their own.
