(Please also note - Armagedon0 has returned to his position as Head of TDM Diplomatics)  Event Name: Allied Revenant Hunting Competition Event Host(s): Isthatok F2P or P2P: F2P (The host for this event is F2P, and we would like to include everyone. If you'd like a P2P version, please feel free to host one yourself in the future) Date: Sunday, April 18, 2010 (Subject to change) Time (EST and GMT): 1:30PM EST | 6:30PM GMT World: 55 Meeting Location: Wilderness Volcano Bank Which Clan(s) or Ally/Allies will be attending: Wilderness Guardians and The Death Monkeighs. What equipment/supplies do YOU need to bring: Revenant hunting gear. Highly recommended attire includes full green dragonhide, a helmet of choice, maple bow + arrows and/or a rune scimitar. Please bring food - preferably at least tuna, as revenants do pack quite a punch at times. Event Details/description (Please read carefully): The OBJECT of this competition is to score as many points as possible by killing revenants within a set time limit as a team. Each revenant you kill has a point value corresponding to their combat level (e.g. If you kill an Ork (level 105), you get 105 points). After the time limit is up, the team with the most culminated points wins the competition. There will be 2-4 teams depending on attendance. REGULATIONS: -When the game begins, teams will set out to hunt. Things you MAY do during the competition:
-Interfere with other teams and steal their kills. -Divide (into smaller groups) and conquer -Die. -Use the bank.
-LIE! Be honest! --- I know this will not be a problem in TDM. -A KILL means that somebody on your team sees the loot that the revenant drops when it dies. This means that if you are fighting with interference from another team/random people, you will only earn points if you (or your team) hit the most damage, therefore receiving the loot. Using lootshare is recommended. If it is confirmed that if the revenant drops NOTHING, then each team fighting will receive ½ the full amount of points (Example: 105 / 2 = 52.5 points). -Should the revenant drop nothing and you are the only people at the scene you will be accredited to the full point value. -To make things clear, you may kill ANY revenant, ANYWHERE in the F2P wilderness in ANY F2P world, using ANY equipment you'd like. -Remember to keep track of your team's score! -------------------- | ||||||
