ok but

1. new skill is released, so everyone wants to no life it.
2. raid was on a saturday night, notice how most wars/raids are on friday or sunday? because people mostly go out saturday nights
3. just because people are 'online' on irc, doesnt mean they are at the computer
4. unless a raid is mandatory, you are going to have to offer something enticing for people to come. just saying "yo dis be normal boring f2p raid, you will lose rune and rage" isnt going to work. doing some creative like joe's pk trip is better (even though it didnt work, but it did better than yours).

lets look at it this way.

Most members of this clan are old skool members (1 year + in the clan)

Therefore, they have attended many raids throughout their time in WG.

I myself would have attended 200+

When you try and attend a raid these days, where double digits are rare, raids are not fun, its a hassle.

So I completly understand why people would rather train the new skill than to go 'raid'.

its just how things are atm kung.

Once we win a war again, people will be motivated to raid, but to win a war, we actually have to have one. the excuse of it being the clan anniversary is pretty stupid considering we havnt done an anniversary event in nearly 3 weekends? (have been inactive so not sure about specs)

if we want out of this rut, we need to win a war and move up and onwards

Some didn't even have the luxery excuse of dunging to not show up. It is pretty sad really, no one cares. You can illustrate all you want that we didn't do this or that. Fact remains were dead in the water and don't give a shit.
