But I read it, and really feel I need to say something. I am very truely sorry to hear that, it's always terrible news to anyone. I can't begin to imagine what it must be like and how you feel right now. Obviously, I can't offer any useful words of courage or advice - as i'm practically a stranger to you. But yeah, I felt I had to say something, as someone close to me once passed and I remember how upset I was - and how friendly words, from stranger or close other, were a comfort to me. We had so many happy memories together. We got to go on so many weekend trips and see a lot of the South around here. Always with a smile and laughing so hard my side would hurt when I got home. We have closed down pubs, hit deer, trashed hotel rooms with so much hair spray a match couldn't be lit in it. The memories are rich like wine in my heart, there will never,ever be another woman like my Charlotte. I can only hope she is at peace now and with no more pain, and is laughing her ass off I got lost getting from the funeral home to the graveside today. -------------------- |

I only say that you are lucky to have had someone like her to share all those times with in the first place. As they say, it's better to have loved and lost than never have loved at all. The pain of her passing will fade over time but your memories of the times you had will last forever.
