I know Bryan helped me a lot with getting there. What I call Bryan is a Money Mentor. He helped me keep on track with getting my gear for graduation. If we had people in wg to be assigned to just keep the unwealthy trials focused on getting the money for raid gear we wouldnt have as many late trials. -------------------- ![]()

I could argue that the reqs are an unneccesary precaution. We require almost 6m worth of gear. Look at us now, how often do we use it? I have always thought that a clan shouldn't have control over your account. Standard requirements and monthly gear checks are halfway there. It will be a long time before we even need 10 rune sets for an event. I have lost recruits on Tip.It because of our gear requirements - it is a hinderance. We seriously need to rethink these. Here is our opportunity. -------------------- ![]() [05:42] <+WG_Keanu> I think I got a semi just looking at the pic [05:42] <%kat> same

Thank you. My take: Current gear reqs: http://www.wildernessguardians.com/forum/i...showtopic=12791 Ok, 10 sets of P2P gear to return in worth 200k? Excessive. I'm one of WG's lowest levels and I die once, maybe twice per raid. We have ONE reoccuring raid a week, in which I usually get 1-2 kills which are half a mil plus. We rarely do wars or PKRIs, and even then we're not going to be out for hours. I say half that requirement. 5 sets is still over a mil worth of the minimum gear and should suffice. 300+ Rocktail/50+ Saradomin brews. Excessive. You're asking for over a mil in food. Rocktail are good, but I save them for wars/PKRIs. I use around 10 rocktail and 10 brews per invent, so you have 30 inventories for wars/PKRIs. That's what, half a year's stock? Cut that down to 100 rocktail, and accept Sharks for raids. They work just as well without the over-hp bonus. You don't really need that quality on a raid because if you're sharkbrewing you're upped in def anyway. The brews are fine at 50. 30 Pure sets - Half it. If you have 25 super restores, you're not going to need pure sets, so save them for wars/PKRIs. 10-15 is easily enough. The rest I agree with. I make my p pots myself. From 100 to 110 combat at bandits I made over 2m worth of p pots (4) collecting ranarr drops so price isn't too big an issue. Restores are VERY expensive but worth the investment. F2P Gear now. 300 anchovy pizzas? Make that 100. You're asking for half a mil in F2P food when we RARELY do anything F2P these days. 100 pizzas is 5 inventories, or more if you combo with swordfish like I do which would last 2-3 months in WG at this rate. 10 Rune sets? WE DON'T F2P. Don't get me wrong, I love F2P but if the sets are just sat there gathering dust, half the requirement. 5 rune sets will last ages in WG now. 30 strength potions... they're so cheap I couldn't care less. Final note - ABOLISH THE MONTHLY GEAR CHECKS. We should be able to trust our members to support themselves in WG, not hang over them like parents forcing children to get their planners signed after school or detention. After spending enough time in WG, members will get their own general idea of what they're going to need to survive, and can work to get it themselves. They don't need us controlling their banks. -------------------- ![]() [05:42] <+WG_Keanu> I think I got a semi just looking at the pic [05:42] <%kat> same

Make it 3 sets of P2P and F2P each for graduation. Get the new recruits into WG so that we can grow. Making it a hard entry isn't going to improve our recruitment. -------------------- ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
