Well earlier this year I had suggested the Alliance HQ irc room to try and keep us closer with our allies, and while that sounded great on paper, it just turned out that everyone was way too lazy to simply join a room. Oh well. In a second attempt, after thinking about it for exactly 3.492 minutes, I have come up with the idea of sharing a Teamspeak. While this conflicts with Robbie's forum/TS synchronization, I think the pros outweigh the cons.

If a clan has a clan-only event (such as a war) then they can simply put a password on the room. At the same time, if a clan decides to PK, this lets the other allied members know and join along. Events will get more attendance and there will just be more people to chat with in general (lets be honest, our irc/ts is mostly dead).

Clans included would be WG/Sabres/ZT/TDM

This would only work if the other clans got rid of their voice servers, which seems unlikely. They'd still use theirs instead, similar to the Alliance HQ IRC channel.

However, we could propose that they could use our TeamSpeak for free, so they don't have to pay for one. The only problem with that is the fact the Robbie's server frequently has issues and makes TeamSpeak and Robbiebot shut down.

I am Dieyou2000 and I concur with this message.

This would take probably a little while to coordinate and set up with other allies, but I see no reason something like this couldn't work. I agree with Kcross though that the hardest part will be convincing other clans to help and our issues with Robbiebot/forums/servers constantly going down.

Btw I always joined alliance_hq until it got to the point where there were like 5 people in there. evilneko.gif

He's onto something actually.
The other clans would save a lot of money.

Randy the ideaman.. You've got me inspired.

However.. I don't think that alot of people would give a rats ass for our allies. I don't care much about them at the time being because we rarely do anything with them...

I'm sure Robbie could set up permissions for their leaders (esp after registering on our forums) and they can set up permissions for their members.

Exactly. We don't do nearly as much with them as we should. It's funny because every time we have a WG only raid and get disapointed with our pull we alays invite our allies last minute. Working together would make us all stronger.

I would be great if it worked, however, whether or not allies would like to be completely reliant on a WG server for the Teamspeak is up for debate.

We have been having a bigger amount of people on ts lately. It makes it easier to do things in the game together too.

Thank you Garrett and Dallar.

is the day you have stopped leading them.
They have either lost confidence that you can help them
or concluded that you do not care.
Either case is a failure of leadership.”
